Just a little poke with a stick to give people interested in this game a heads up that the LO section on Aeria forums is brewing with activities from a couple of the GM's and moderators. Activities have included a LO Badge creation event to be used for Closed beta participants as well as various unofficial event's and game's being held by the Sage's.
If this is any indication that they are getting ready to roll out the Closed Beta, then i don't know what is.

Awww, i know that EE was overly populated with the type of crowd that could definitely rub people the wrong way, but just keep in mind LO is from a completely different development studio and is in better hands; i know the Aeria community can be "Juvenile" and at times it really bugs me too, but remember what kind of games they've gotten used to playing for the last 3-5 years, games all made practically from the same developing studio and marketed with a Cash-shop in mind, it only feels like a PWE community because they've been pushing out PWE-like franchise games, so of course it's going to draw on the same pool of gamers "whether they be idiots or not"
I guess the point I'm trying to make is, i think LO is going to draw from a completely different pool of gamers(A higher quality of gamers), at least that's what I'm hoping for, I've spent quite a lot of time in the LO section interacting with the people there, and for the most part seem very eager for a quality Anime-MMORPG experience, something they have not seen since the days of Ragnarok, which should count for something.
Anyway, I'd really like to see you give LO a fighting chance, even if the Aeria community may suck because of the games it's been given, it wouldn't be fair to the people who toiled tirelessly to bring us a Quality game Aeria may not be used to seeing since MegaTen was released, and no one can deny how frick'n cool that game was when it was new.

Community was the least of my problem, that's what you got the guild for
I love the people that joined our guild and made it a nice community for ourselves, who cares how crap the other community is if you have 150 members that you can enjoy playing the game with
Aeria itself is the problem...
Random bans Immature GMs GS/GMs that troll you Totally wrong way of prioritizing things Cash shop heavy content releases CS being a huge gamble with retarded rates
Like I said Aeria is full of crap and I'm done with them even if they release the best mmo ever

Snow.... Did you document and report any of this? I wouldn't let a GameSage or GameMaster get away with being abusive because that is very unprofessional and it's your right to report that to the Lead Staff or Admins.
Keep in mind that some of the lower GM's and GS's used to be normal players of the Aeria community themselves, it's not unheard of for some of these individuals to get out of line or step over boundaries they should not step over, remember not all of them are on a salary or pay-roll with Aeria like the Lead GM's and Admins are, this affords them the luxury of being bad without real-world consequences, (Short of being kicked from their positions), and that type of behavior should not be tolerated, because it gives the rest of the staff a bad name. When it comes to Online communities - It only takes one bad apple to make the bunch "appear" as if they are spoiling, Appearances are everything when the audience can only speculate.
I understand what you are saying and i won't pressure you further about it, i am just hoping you did what you could to document and report those responsible, because just letting them get away with it allows them to continue to do it to someone else, and until someone speaks out, no eyebrow will ever be raised at possible GM/GS player abuse, it will simply continue to be treated as a myth or rumors and swept under a rug.
As for the rest of the issues you have, well, some of these seem fairly inter-personal and i don't know what to tell you, I'm not really well-informed surrounding the circumstances of your Ban but i do know that Aeria banned me for no reason once back in Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine, so i can definitely relate with random bans with no genuine explanation or open line of communication, all i remember is that one day i was banned, and several letters later, i was unbanned and the only explanation was a mix-up with player names or something like that. It's frustrating and it just stinks, it tends to leave a mark i know.
But back to Lime Odyssey, whatever decision you make i hope that you can let these things go and try to deal with them more constructively, cause it's a bit dis-concerning that a fellow Guild-mate is completely avoiding a game due to all this and i think it's unfair to you and it's unfair to others when these things aren't dealt with.
P.S. If you don't want to put yourself out there to deal with this, then i certainly would like to, if you could PM me the names of the GM's or GS's responsible and any other info that would be very helpful.

GS troll train (aka, you got a problem they want to keep hidden, you get outspammed by 5 GS at the same time and get warnings in return as if you'r the troll)
Lead GMs you make me laugh Neo, it's half their actual GM staff that fails, lead and normal so no the problem is the whole bunch of em, I don't care that they have some good GMs they sure have a few, but when the ones that you can get hold of the most are the worst ones out there, it's a huge problem (the really higher ups that actually have brains have 95% of possible ways to contact them turned off)
As for the gambling CS, it's not a personal thing, it's Aeria thing... They release boxes with 1 good item in it and 500 crappy items in the same box, and make the chance to get that 1 item below 1% They release these boxes not on a weekly basis but almost on a daily one and imo it's one of the lowest form of cash shop whoring (this one is a personal view, the % chance aren't)
I'm done with Aeria thank you

that why i mention before aeria cost me the most money when we played smt last time ^^
but ya their business model make u spend.and they do mass ban when they think it can help.
the last few times i log in smt long ago.the aeria gms mass ban everyone who bought stuff in game from a few cash shop sellers who turn out to have used fraud credit cards lol.the fraud seller in turn sell the cash item in game for game cash to a lot a lot of players in order to mask their trail.they did not expect aeria to just mass ban everyone who been in contact with them in game hehe.so to catch a few thieves aeria kill a bunch of innocent civilians ^_^
too bad that time a few top rank members in our guild was ban for buying the fraud seller cash items in game using game coins since he was selling in central of the town.aeria does not care even if they are good cash item buyers or not.they just want to punish the thieves that cheated them heh

Shu your last line is what I'm talking about
They'r so fckin retarded that they don't think of the consequences or think their actions through, they just handle.
This includes GMs and GSes (the only decently capable ones r higher ups which just cash the money, rather then bother)
They threat, without thinking They make you out for a lier/troll just because you don't have evidence to show 24/7 of what you'r talking about They hide bad facts, and moderate their forum 24/7 so their deeds never show on their own forum (yet they don't have a GM team working 24/7 on a mmo LOL (99% of their GM's work shifts 10am ~ 5pm 5 days a week)
They'r just cancer of the mmo companies

Yeah, i mean i sympathize with people that have had run-in's with Aeria, granted i guess i most be completely ignorant to the true monster Snow had out-lined Aeria to be, i mean i believe him, i just haven't seen any of it yet - then again i haven't really played a Aeria game heavily since SMT so all i can do is take people's word for it.
But i take comfort in the following facts: The powers that be which is SIRIUS have an over-all say in what they would like to see in a Cashshop, they also have an over-all say in how they want a publisher to market their game, so with that i guess i am being hopeful they are willing to compromise with the players on how far to go with the "Pay to win" margin, I'm not at all worried about a company wanting to make money, and as long as it's not on the PWE Greedy-piggy-oink-oink Level of Cashshop; then i am happy.
I try not to think of a game I've been watching out for since 2008 as a product of possible failure just because it's being published by someone i don't fully agree with, even i can say that Aeria has a extremely split community as they have such a large amount of games people are playing, so i guess you get every type of personality mixed in, not all of them being the greatest. =================================================
So i have high hopes for this game, and for the Lolicon fans: i hope you're ready for some screenshots of a mysterious girl that seems to being Loli-ing it up!

Aeria servers run smoothly after the initial launch hiccups and if you stay with the guild without having to bother about most of the community, then there's no problem that 90% of the community r retards.
It's once you run into any kind of problem that you'r screwed, and here's the problem Running into a problem doesn't mean that it has necessary to do with you (bam random ban in your face)
Double exp event? Channel 1 crashes all people stuck in that crash can't log in till GM restarts the channel. (sounds like a thing that can happen to anyone right? Well for Aeria it happens 4 weeks in a row during each double exp event, before they just stop the event, rather then fix it) If you try to talk to a GM/GS about a solution, you get ignored/trolled/warned. Yet at the same time they can all keep shouting "Do not talk in all caps" over n over.
GM have no brain at all and do not think just act. A GM monitoring the shout-box can't see the humor in "THIS IS TYPED IN ALL SHIFT instead of caps" phrase and goes all hostile right away throwing ban warnings, even though it's exactly fitting humor for their community, and they all had to lol.
Saying "go watch some porn" gets you banned for filter dodging, because they were too retarded to actually filter porn in shout-box.
Did I tell you about the random ban? Well not only r the GMs stupid enough to run an auto ban program without any human control they set it up to check for wrong things too.
Now they do promise to get your ban ticket solved within 2 days, but the GMs are not even capable to read (they got a form for ban appeals, yet they can't follow it themselves) so instead of 2 days it takes them 100 hours from the initial ban appeal ticket to get you unbanned.
Not only did they fail there, in fact they make you out for a troll for wanting a guild leader account (which has to actually be active to run guild town, so a whole guild gets screwed not just the account and that while the leader shouldn't be banned in the 1st place since nothing was wrong) to be unbanned after it's been over 2 days already, while they r unbanning random chat box spammers that just spam their ticket over n over.
Not only do they fail at all that, they actually go and try to cover it up. Suddenly after setting up fail settings on the ban they start shouting in game how they ban over 6000 gold seller accounts weekly, and how they'r doing such an awesome job on their bans rofl...
Speaking of jobs, which mmo publisher of any decent size doesn't have a 24/7 GM work shifts? That's right Aeria GM's have shifts from 10am to 5pm it seems and guess what 5 days a week. There does seem to be a random GM popping up at an off time, to tell us that it isn't his work shift and that he's not working trolololol
If you try to talk about their failure on their forum in a (non)constructive way your posts get removed within 30sec ~ 2 min period. On top of that longer threads get monitored, and edited so that they turn out to be pro Aeria, with bad posts being removed or changed.
If you try to point out a problem that's happening in game to 5 GSes on the shoutbox you get pointed out that that isn't the place to do so and warned that any further discussion will get you banned... lol
And the list goes on with tons more minor/bigger issues which despite there always being a swarm of GS/GM you can't discuss and they never get fixed
- Stay away from the cash shop (and especially anything that has chances) - Keep your chat to guild chat only - Stay away from their website/forum/shout-box - Make a new account, with a unique name/pass - Pray they don't fail their auto-ban system again
PS: that loli thing is adorable Neo, till I saw that freaky tail

Aeria Games' new Lime Odyssey MMO has been in the works for a while now. We first caught wind of the free-to-play fantasy game in late 2010, and since then news pickings have been rather slim.
Now, though, Aeria has ponied up a press release that adds a few more details into the mix (including a new website as well as a trailer comprised of the game's opening cinematic). Lime Odyssey: The Chronicles of Orta will feature three races -- Humans, Turga, and Muris -- as well as three adventuring and three crafting classes. Players may choose from traditional Thief, Mage, or Warrior archetypes for the former and Tailor, Chef, and Blacksmith disciplines for the latter.
Gameplay revolves around the collection of a sacred substance known as lime, and players will "traverse mountains, deserts, and oceans on [a] quest for peace and harmony (while killing lots of mobs, of course). Hit the jump for the cinematic.

Yeah this is their "Story introduction" trailer they've been working on getting a translated story script for, i suppose that's why it took em so long to put it together, Aeria is pretty much at the mercy of SIRIUS - who's slow crawling pace has sort of hampered Aeria's ability to get our version of the client ready.
But if seems Aeria is getting there, slowly but surely; one of my sneaking suspensions about why the development on the US versions end has been slow going is due to Aeria waiting for the Pam race to be ready, which SIRIUS had only recently released in it's Korean version, which goes in to Open Beta on Oct. 26th.
Oh, and apparently they changed the Pam Race name, they are called "Muris" now.

Aeria Games is starting to ramp up the publicity for its Lime Odyssey free-to-play MMO. The team behind the upcoming fantasy title recently released a new website, trailer, and a gaggle of screenshots, and have followed suit today with another trailer and still more screenshots.
The clip is taken directly from the game, and serves as an introduction for human characters. There's a bit of backstory relating to the history of the world and the pursuit of lime, as well as lots of idyllic long-shots featuring the game's beautiful scenery.
The new screens show a variety of activities including cooking and farming as well as a group of adventurers in full armor and some player housing. Check them out above and don't forget the video clip after the cut.

o.o I didn't spit a wall, just normal registration.
I pretty much did spit a wall by abusing my experience on gaming and software engineering. Also, I mentioned how easy it is to find exploits in older version of an MMO if you know where to dig them out in the TW/CN websites (Being a person who knows 375927592 languages like me, it's a piece of cake).
As a note, TW and CN players share them and MOST are resulted from old patch and fixed in new official patch but in most cases, English version tend to still have them around, waiting to be noticed (Since English game version tend to be slower than TW/CN ones).
