What is the Pando Media Booster? What do I do if I have problems with it?Pando Media Booster is a small program that speeds up the download and streaming of large media and software such as high resolution video or large games. It is the official download client of the gPotato version of Aika. It is not spyware, adware, malware or a virus; it does not monitor your activity, does not take control of your computer, and does not serve any ads or popups. If you have technical issues with Pando, please visit their
F.A.Q. page. We may provide direct download links for the installer in the future, but currently Pando is the only program we will support. We do not recommend that you download Aika through other methods, as we cannot be held responsible for any outdated or fraudulent software that might be distributed in this way.
I've downloaded the client and activated my beta key, but why can't I connect to Aika? What is this "Cannot get information from server" message?Aika does not enter closed beta until February 3rd, 11am PST. At that time you will be able to connect to the server and play. The client also will not download/apply any patches until the server goes live and Closed Beta begins.
I’ve downloaded the installer, but it tells me that I am not connected to the internet! What's wrong? If the downloader says you are not connected to the internet, the program may be blocked by your firewall or security software. Try adding exceptions for and/or assigning 'Trusted Application' status to for AikaOnlineDownloader.exe, PMBInst.exe, and PMB.exe to your firewall or internet security software. Instructions for doing so should be available in the software documentation.
