E3 is really good. But unless I'm wrong, the trade show is not for the general public. Else I would plan an annual trip to LA every June.
The barrage of demos, conference speeches, performances and trailers is really a digital heaven on Earth. ^_^

Lol imo both microsoft and sony were fail, nintendo was quite good actually

Sony: the only strong factor is that they'r introducing sony network on mobile devices/tablets/phones

Microsoft: got the idea totally wrong... People don't want to be a fcking controller, people want to be inside the game, also only fckin focus on Kinect bullcrap, they'r like chasing Nintendo by the time they realise they'r failing and start copying the new controller from Nintendo, those guys from Nintendo ll be on a whole new lvl already

Nintendo: 3DS owns the PS Vita on the mobile gaming area, the new controller offers plenty of possibility in all ways, they'r catching up on graphics, they got some good games lined up, and they'r gonna steal way more customers away from the other 2 failing companies at this rate (ofcourse Microsoft might pump in another few billions buying games for their consoles to keep it alive) and Sony ll throw in so many extras that their fanboys still stick to them, but the ones going with Nintendo ll have the most fun

The PSVita actually impressed me more because of the back-touch feature, allowing you to push items from the front or from the back of the screen. Then again 3D without glasses is awesome, it's just that I knew about it before E3 so it wasn't as impressive.

I'm excited about Wii U and I can imagine using it for the new Zelda game coming out so I don't have to switch back and forth to the Start Menu to swap items and view maps etc. I was confused for a bit if the Wii U was just a new controller or if it was a new system entirely...lol. I need to look more into it.

As for the Xbox Kinect, I didn't know about any of that stuff beforehand so it struck me as cool. But I feel like most people wouldn't want to incorporate their whole body into the game and do weird motions to interact with the system. The scanning I thought was cool cause you can scan yourself and objects to create virtual versions but after doing it maybe....5 times, i'd be over it..lol

We learned a lot at E3 this year, and we've compiled a list of our coverage highlights. We also present our Best of Show Award!

    E3 2011 199542
E3 has come and gone, and we learned a lot during our time at the Los
Angeles Convention Center. While we invite you to browse through all of our E3 coverage,
we wanted to point out some of the highlights from the convention.
You'll find all of our original features and a list of other noteworthy
    announcements after the jump!
We'd also like to take this opportunity to present En Masse Entertainment and TERA with our Best of Show Award! As we explored TERA's political system,
the demo shined as the most polished one we saw at the convention.
Expanding the role of politics in-game will create a whole new dynamic
for players, and we believe TERA holds a lot of potential for its North
American audience. We'll definitely be keeping our eye on this game as
we wait for details on the testing and launch schedule.
