I don't understand.. are we limited to how much of the game we can explore? Or can we experience it all?

Atm with the 10 day free trial there are no limitations, you just get 10 days.

Soon when they will make the free to play thingey, the non subscribers will have a bunch of limitations.

For those that may look at this title as a more serious substitution to a game they might be waiting on for a few years (like waiting for FF14), then you may want to look over some Roleplaying material before diving into DDO, though it's not exactly required, it's a very good idea to pick character names that carry some sort of meaning in the world of D&D, other-wise, you may find yourself running around in a community in which no one will take you seriously, as realm-based or not, this game is EXTREMELY Rp-heavy, this is definitely not for lax players of any type, so think carefully before putting a monthly subscription into this game.

For those that are just here to take advantage of the free trial or interested in the F2p aspects (which or so limited it won't be fun), then by all means.

Players interested in Drow names go here: http://drowcampaign.roleplaynexus.com/drowlanguage.html

Players interested in Elven names go here: http://www.candlekeep.com/library/articles/elven_names.htm

Players interested in Dwarf names go here: http://www.rdinn.com/generators/1/dwarven_name_generator.php

I won't post a link for the other races because theirs either not that many good sites offering them, or a lot of the one's i found were dead domains.

By the way, i do plan on making this my main game to play, I've actually always wanted to play this, but i keep forgetting about it; I'm setting up my subscription now, I'll be playing a Drow if they allow it right off the bat (basically a Dark-elf race); i haven't decided on my name yet, and i haven't looked at the realm choices either, is anyone else looking at this game with serious eyes?

EDIT. If i can't make a Drow I'll definitely be an Elf.

Yeah Yoshi, Reg and me are playing it and are considering paying for it untill Aion comes out.

Also Reg broght a few friends with him, so we got a, paladin, ranger(long range), rogue, wizzard atm hehe.

I'm not sure if Buffie will give it another shot :o
And shu and Axl were looking at it, so we might actually have some real fun in here.

The game is not really fun IF you play solo, but in a party it's really good!

We ll make a guild if we can for everyone who wants to join, but only if the interest is gonna be high enough and a few people plan to stick arround for a while.

P.S. We are on the US servers. Server name: Sarlona (My IGN: Snowi)

Ahhh cool beans, I'm almost done with the HD download (at 95% as I'm typing this), so I'll be in-game soon; I wonder if their are any type of limited activities between different type of alignments, like can a chaotic evil hang around an area with lawful good? (Hahaha, what a dynamic).

Like could a Drow be in a party of lawful good Paladins? :P (My 13 years of D&D experience says "NO" xD)

    EDIT: Wheeeeeee, Buffie's coming.

So we all are using vent. Hope you guys will be using vent aswell, otherwise it's hard to contact each other till the guild is up at least.

Awwwww darn it i knew it! Lol, guess i'm waiting on my Drow then. xD.

Oh well, guess I'm going to be a Elf then, not sure on the class yet. If DDO utilizes 3.5 class rules (which i heard they do), then I'll be mutli-classing.

If they have Shadow Dancers that would be awesome!
