Hello everyone, we wanted to let you know that we will be performing scheduled maintenance for eight hours on January 4th, 2012 from 2AM CST (12AM PST/3AM EST/8AM GMT/9AM CET) until 10AM CST (8AM PST/11AM EST/4PM GMT/5PM CET. All game servers will be offline during this period. This maintenance is expected to take no more than eight hours, but could be extended.

Generally speaking we are aiming to limit our scheduled maintenance period to once a week, on Tuesdays. However, this week we will perform maintenance on Wednesday due to the New Year’s holiday. We are aiming for this weekly maintenance period to take place in an off-peak time for both North American and European players. We are also aiming to inform players of the precise duration of any weekly maintenance period at least 24 hours before the maintenance begins.

For our new players, this weekly maintenance is done in order to make general improvements and to check performance of the game so that we can continue to provide a consistent, quality experience. Quite often (but not always) after a maintenance period there will a patch to download. Please be sure to update your launcher after any maintenance period.

game was fun as expected.

pro:like a console game that can play online with friends.storyline was fantastic and as long they keep doing updates the game can last long.if only ffxiv can be done this way i bet no1 will leave

con:if updates is not constant the game will have short to mid term lifespan

not saying there is lack of quest.on the contrary there is much more quests one can handle.even hitting max lvl u only get to finish around half of the quests available.many many around.but they need more content for ppl who hit max lvl.end game content atm consist of flashpoint,world boss raid,warzone,planet pvp,open pvp zone but they still need to add more to it.

if u have time i will advise u to play it.even for a while.the game really revolutionize the present mmo industry.in a way this is the way to go for new mmo in the future.

after u taste a mmo with fully voice feature with cut scene u will not wish to go back already heh.

another con is too basic guild feature.no recruitment board available like in boi or pw hence making recruiting difficult.too many guild but no upgrades atm.waiting for next patch where they add guild bank and guild ship in future.

we are having fun inside but i am not recruiting much.not much big scale activities in game required.a flashpoint can be done with 3-4 ppl.our guild presently have around 20+ ppl inside.

i am still not convince this game lifespan atm for average players.they need add more stuff and improve on some that is for sure.but they have done a overall good job and i have no regrets buying this.overall this is a fun mmo ^^

can't wait for large scale pvp battle siege to happen,but i wonder if the server can handle that kind of battle or not heh

I think he just misses a good big title and now that he finally got a decent one he's back to his old self ^_^

Sad fact about mmos - the good ones aren't friendly to those living and working in SE Asia timezones. The beautiful looking but poorly designed ones are often made for Asia. =_=
