Sect scouting in Age of Wulin is quite popular among the players. It is greatly enjoyed by the players due to its strong interaction. Scouts are classified into sect scout and imperial court scout. Imperial court scout quest can be received at "Imperial Government Scout" in the main city. Imperial court scout quest can be taken throughout the day. When scout players are scouting a sect, the word "Scout" won't appear over their head. Only when they are seen through by the patrolling player using the quest item of "token", will the word "Scout" appear over their head. So scouts are actually quite safe, though receive comparatively less rewards.

A lot of training and martial arts skills
One day, a Tang Sect disciple tried to scout Emei School, but he was spotted by an Emei patrol when passing by Book Chamber. Their fight drew several Emei School disciples. When seeing he was hopelessly outnumbered, the Tang Sect disciple jumped into a river from a suspension bridge, attempting to run away through waterway. All the chasing Emei School disciples jumped into the river following the Tang Sect disciple. They were engaged in an eyeball-to-eyeball situation.
Contacts usually hide in a corner or behind a tree
Suddenly, the Tang Sect disciple found that he can shoot high-attack darts, and Emei School disciples could do nothing in water. So the Tang Sect disciple stopped running. He stayed in water and shot darts at Emei School disciples ceaselessly. But the Tang Sect disciple forgot that Age of Wulin is a highly-free world. Although not good at shooting darts, Emei disciples can still use them. The Tang Sect disciple just couldn't ward off the darts (though low attack) shot at him by Emei disciples.
Hand in quest
When seeing the situation was against him, the Tang Sect disciple ran away along the waterway, basically from north Emei to South Emei. However, Emei School disciples believed that victory would belong to Emei School and they just wouldn't give up on chasing him. So if you saw someone struggling desperately in water and chased by several Emei disciples, congratulations, you were watching a live show. The result is the Tang Sect disciple will be killed by Emei disciples after he goes ashore.
