Anyway lets pick the server that comes on top of the list when OB launches

I be back online in about 3-4 hours after finsihing some work at FedEx. I got to make sure these packages get to their final destinations.

Oooo, two new classes in Open Beta ^^ Blade Dancer and Shaman.
I'll be joining, think i'll stick to Warrior or might try the new classes.

The 3x event has just started.

Wow, Snow, bored much? lol My highest was Thief at lvl 28. I guess I'll be playing this for a bit as a Thief/Martial Artist. I think. Here in less than a month I'll have little to no internet, so I don't know how much I'll get to play until like end of September :/

Well, in fact I've been pretty busy with college, but had a lot of free time this weekend so I had to put some gaming effort in hehe

1st of all when I started with this, I didn't expect it to be so damn hard
2nd someone told me I wouldn't make it :O
3d Once I had half of the classes 40 and was a zombie already, I put too much effort to stop by then
4th I was in a zombie party with a bunch of Asians, so I was sure we'd keep going, since they'd rather die then stop before all their characters hit 40 (too bad all of em hit 40 few hours before me u.u)
5th free day this Monday in the Netherlands I knew I could sleep out :O
PS: (I did get 40 on all, I just already had mage and knight at 40, that's wy 8/10)

Anyway, after doing this, and hitting 40 on all only late after exp went up to x3 rates, I have to say, maxing ALL characters to OB cap (lvl 50) without exp events is gonna take pretty damn long...

For OB, I'd suggest concentrating on main story quests and repeatable qusts, to hit character lvl 50 as fast as you can, because then you can take on the highest lvl stuff availible and grinding any class from 1 to 50 ll be a lot smoother

Although, you should get thief to the lvl where it gets stealth (10 or so) and mage where it gets group teleport (also 10 I think) that way you can walk to places in stealth or afk middle of a mob spawn, and the teleport ll make it easy to regroup on the same map, or get people from 1 place to another

Stealth on thief is beautiful. Works great for those sudden afk moments. That is until you happen to stealth afk in a Boss's path xD Good thing for no death penalty lol I'm still a bit unsure of what I want to do. Thief just doesn't seem that strong, not like mage anyways. Mage gets stealth, teleport, awesome aoe, awesome dot, and just pure awesome attacks all the way around. Seems like mage is just an OP thief that uses a staff :/ I doubt I'll get to play long enough to get both maxed, so I need to choose wisely lol

Dungeons: range dps > melee dps
Outside range + aoe > melee dps

stealth doesn't work vs dungeon mobs, and there is exp loss outside of dungeons (no class exp loss though <3)

If you'r going for melee dps tree, I'd go with Martial Artist, those things get some crazy strong buffs, can get a lot more tankish compared to thief due to their buffs

Or consider bladedancer, but that ll require lvl 45 bard 1st

Mage, Shaman, Knight, are the 3 classes I'm very interested in

Eden Eternal Open Beta is Nearly Here!
We are now making final preparations, but here are the details that you need to know...


OB START TIME:
Servers are scheduled to open tentatively on Wednesday @ 7PM PDT (Click here to see what time this is in your time zone!), barring any last minute issues. You can already start patching now, but you won't be able to log in until then.

OB PREVIEW:
We're putting the finishing touches on a short OB preview trailer that will be released tomorrow. also hoping to give a preview of a few new things tomorrow. If there's time we'll also release a guide on one of the new systems in the game.

PATCH NOTES:
We're still making some final touches on the game, so we'll provide full patch notes sometime tomorrow once we're happy.

CB PARTICIPANTS REWARDS:
So... The Devs have informed us that they have just finished creating the Open Beta Rewards. However they still need testing before they're ready to be added to the game. Therefore we're planning to distribute them next week.

HELP US SPREAD THE WORD:

r yall set on a server? me and couple friends will play. I got work 30hr/week though so just gonna be casual. This game looks to be PVE oriented, whats a good class to PVE? i'm interested in hunters.

thanks for the update I only played one day (the last day) of CB and I thought emerald was on the top of my server list maybe due to less population? Though i culd be wrong as i only played the one day heh.

Emerald was 2nd on the list for me in cbt o.O

There's 4 from our group playing for sure: me (for a short time at the very least), Solar, Kazuki, and dragon. Not sure if the other 3 will play. Then I think we got Snow, Beebo, Vynchy if we can drag her along lol, Forseti, you, Cherub, atreides, so that's like 11? Not really enough for a guild since gvg is expected sometime, so probably not Neoyoshi. Any others playing? I just looked through the thread, so there may be others.

Sadly I'm going on vacation for the next 4 or so days, so the soonest I'll be on for OB is probably Sunday night...maybe. Now I must try to sleep. Again. lol

I should be able to make that time easily, since I got a free day tomorrow, so might even push it a bit at start, to help us all

With 11 people we could go for a guild and recruit in game.
I'd say we wouldn't have to aim to be the top guild out there, but a community oriented one.

So with that said I'd like everyone who's interested to play (or just has good name ideas) post the following things:

* Guild name suggestion(s): Desire (our SMT guildname), Myst, Dawn

* Class(es) you aim for: 1 Magician, 2 Shaman, 3 Knight

* Character name (once game starts): Snow, Nut, Nuts,

* Guild name suggestion(s): Aetheria sounds cool.

* Class(es) you aim for: no idea... still thinking about it.

* Character name (once game starts): kawainu.

A few personal tips

* Aim for character lvls, it's easier to catch up on class lvls if you can kill higher lvls

* To gain character lvl, quests are better then grind, take ALL the quests, and use auto track a lot to walk to the locations you need.

Main quests
Repeatable quests
Buy books that give you quests too

* Every time you get a certain amount of fame in an area you can buy fame items which are very strong (look for the green smiley on the map in town for fame chest that sells em) (look on the fame icon on your minimap to see how much fame you already have)

* Setting titles can be done through the title icon on your minimap

* There's an archive button on the minimap, that opens all items you can craft, and you can store crafted items in there

* Do not lvl every class, you ll be broke, before lvl 20 its still okish, but even then just leave out the classes you don't think you ll play, and past 20 aim for 1 or max 2 untill you hit lvl cap

* Everything outside of dungeons (except the world bosses) is soloable, so if a quests tell you to kill a named whatever, you can do it.

* Exp is shared in party through the whole map

* Zone chat is only for the same channel on the same map

* Class branch skills (like melee dps) cost money

* All monsters drop a certain amount of coins per kill, it shows in combat window not in loot

* Buy the color dyes at the lvl the npc says it is for (lvl 15 in Tranquill Hill)
