Santa Clara, CA - March 16, 2011 - Aeria Games, a leading global publisher of free-to-play online games, announced today that Closed Beta (CB) registration has officially begun for Eden Eternal, a new anime-style MMORPG from the developers of Grand Fantasia and Kitsu Saga. Eden Eternal is slated for Closed Beta (CB) release in Spring of this year. Players can register for CB at the games official website http://edeneternal.aeriagames.com.
In Eden Eternal, players will trek across a magical realm filled with vibrant races, robust monsters, and prosperous villages as they work to uncover ancient secrets surrounding the mysterious Soul Stone. Help the powerful Eternal Children solve the enigma of their origin and ultimately bring peace to the continent as part of your final quest.
In addition to whimsical 3D graphics, mystical beasts, and charming communities, Eden Eternal creates its own distinct MMO flavor with these engaging features:
Class Changes: Freely switch between classes as you unlock them. As you progress through Eden, you will gain access to 15 unique classes.
Player Towns: Help your guild create a thriving town in Eden. Become a respectable citizen by establishing cross-functional structures and mastering a valuable community trade.
Unique Races: Humans, Beast Men, Frog Men and other half-animal races wander the land in Eden. Each races history is intricately woven into the Eden Eternal story and ultimately impacts your path to unlock the Soul Stones secrets.
Innovative Dye System: Players can customize their characters armor and appearance with a surprising variety of colors and styles. Search Eden for additional rare and exotic dyes.
Eden Eternals expansive gameplay also features a progressive title system as part of a variety of in-game achievements which are earnable throughout the elaborate quest series. Aeria Games just announced the closed beta for their new MMO title Eden Eternal will start tomorrow on June 2. If you are interested in this anime-inspired MMO, you can apply for CBT by signing up at the official site. Although the CB hasn't started, you can now download the game in advance and log in as soon as the beta starts.
Eden Eternal features fast paced real-time combat, multi-class, and town management system. You will be able to team up with your friends to explore the 3-man or 5-man dungeons and battle the ferocious beasts. And you will not be restricted to just one class per character. Instead, freely swap between up to 15 unique classes. Player town is another feature that allows you to interact with other players. Build and develop your own town, hire NPCs, visit others' towns and more, you can expect many activities in the towns.
Other features include switchable WASD and click-to-move system, PVP system that offers 1 on 1 duels as well as 10 vs. 10 or 15 vs. 15 battlefield, and pet system. Eden Eternal is a free-to-play game, and you can find more info at the official site.

Went to try this out and see how it is Very addicting game, very interesting class system, where you can simultaniously lvl multiple classes very well
Slightly what FFXIV tried to do, but these guys got the idea right, they actually give away certain class skills, depending on your lvl not just class lvl.
For example if you are a mage, you get like 10 skills from being lvl 60, (few skills every few lvls) meaning that when you lvled as a ranger, and hit lvl 60 on your character and 60 on ranger, then switched to mage, you ll have the skills of a lvl 60 character that come with the mage, then you can lvl up the mage, to gain the more specific class skills.
What I mean is, you don't have to re-lvl every job from scratch, because your base lvl, actually gives your job enough skills to propperly do things, so you can lvl up all classes a lot easier compared to FFXIV
Also the base lvl is quite a bit slower then actual class lvls, and class lvls can't go above your base lvl. But this is not a bad thing, because this way you can keep up 3~4 classes at max class lvl simultaniously by doing 25~33% of a base lvl on a different class.
As for other systems, so far everything seems to be working propperly, asides from some little misspellings, and slight lag in channel 1 which is being flooded by people, there aren't many issues. Very well working UI, pretty good graphics etc.

Yeah i agree, so far I'm having a hard time thinking of things to complain about in this game, everything seems very balanced and the difficulty of dungeons feel just right.
Some of the cons that I've come across are simply just little minor bugs here and there, the games movement controls could use a little more tweaking to make it more tighter and smoother, but of course what i could be experiencing with slight jumping delays could simply be server flooding.
And on that not, i think i can say in all honesty, the only joy-kill in this beta so far is the fact that theirs way to many frick'in people online LOL, but they are opening a new server to fix this, it's already in the server list on the forums so it might already be up now.
It's hard to say what my verdict is but so far I'm liking just about ever bit of this game.

I think EE is pretty fun so far..I would of hoped to change the look of my character more often I think. The controls were easy to adjust to..
Anyone playing still? Someone took my name already so i'm playing as BeeboR

Actually, the start is very easy, and you can keep all classes maxed, but arround lvl 20 that's just not possible anymore, and higher up it gets harder.
Upgrading skills becomes a huge expense, and keeping more then 2 characters maxed is kinda too hard.
I assume past lvl 40 it ll be just impossible to concentrate on more then 1 character untill max lvl, unless you want to give up on lvling your primary lvl and grind for money/class exp
The game is very polished in general, but it relies rather heavy on gold :O (skills upgrading, crafting recepies, gathering crafting materials, upgrading, crafting itself (with a chance to fail) enchanting, factions reputation, all of it costs gold one way or another)
Each zone lasts you for like 3~5 lvls and has 1~2 dungeons in it so far. So you ll be doing new dungeons quite a lot. If you keep following the quest lines you ll always have quests, and after you got a few basic quests done in an area, it unlocks repeatable quests in there, to give you exp and money. So you ll never ever run out of quests.
Guilds can have their own guild town (kind of a guild hall I think) and guild quests.
For pvp I only tested the dueling so far, but I have read there's also team pvp arena and BGs (Knowing Aeria games from SMT it might take ages before they release the BG though)
All with all the game feels rather complete, and more polished then SMT was during its launch :O
(I'm in the 1st server, if ya ever want to catch me, my IGN: Nut) But kinda busy with college stuffs to play a lot of anything

Probably not. The only reason I stuck with Spiral Knights, because it has a uniform/singular form of cash shop atm, which makes it a lot easier to manipulate. Aeria/gpot has always had a pain in the ass cash shop.

I don't know yet, it would have to take enough of Aetherius members to make a guild in EE to convince me to take the game past just the usual testing phase; i liked it for what it is and it is a great game, but the community system and the community itself needs a major over-haul to catch my attention.
If you guys create a Guild, you know I'll come running, but only because it's Aetherius.
I'm really tied between Diablo 3 and Lime Odyssey.
Oh yeah Hotglue is there but the core community of Hotglue is currently still playing Prius, mostly because all the other major pvp guilds are there; RQ, Conti, etc.

Hate to be bringer of good/bad news depending on how you see it, but CB ends tomorrow Sunday, June 12th at 6pm PDT CBT Ends Post. We'll probably join the first server in OB if we decide to play since most people will be there probably. I'll probably main cleric, while Solar will main bard. I'm not sure what Cil will main or if he'll be able to play, but most likely thief type.

I'll try play with you guys then^^
my son and I were playing today and got lvl 20war/20mage/20clr/20brd/20thf/20hunter and had alot of fun, though we raced through just to test it. I liked the warrior and mage a fair bit, but i just swaped up the roles depending on what we were doing.
was on Emerald server, so if the OB is same servers stay on that one? So keep this page updated if it changes^^
so currently theres about 8+ of us playing? might be worth making a guild in OB then more can flock
