aion p2p right, is there info where you can buy the game?

It's not out yet (0nly Korean version is)
And yeah it's gonna be p2p.

I dont mind paying as long as it fun,and looks as good as the screenies.

I hope NCsoft doesn't separate this on US and Europe and just do one international version.

Guide for AION China OBT


As my guide on the Aionsource gets deleted, I made this Word version.

Wish this would help and hope you enjoy your playing in China OBT



1. Register an SDO account

Go to the SDO register page: http://register.sdo.com/sdo/reg/common/inputinfo1.asp?from=78 Follow the introduction in the picture




2. Download the client

The OBT uses a different client from the CBT. It’s the version of K-AION OBT.

3. Add an ID

To
register a SDO account, you needn’t fill in the personal information,
but you’d better fill in an adult ID, or else you would have no
experience after 5 or 6 hours of playing and you couldn’t pick up
anything on the ground.



a. Log in your account in this page: http://www.sdo.com/loginPT.asp



b. If it is the 1st time you log in, you will see this page, follow the introduction in the picture








If you have logged in before, you will see this page, follow the introduction in the picture









You will go to this page, click the link marked in the picture







c. Now that you have come to the ID adding page whether you are the 1st time log in.



Fill in the blank, with the name(the Chinese words) in the 1st line and the ID(the number code) in the 2nd line.



E.g. name: 王洪侠

ID：210124198508162281

Here
are some Chinese adult IDs. I admit that they are on for a long time,
but SDO(in fact all the Chinese game company) wouldn’t mind if there
are several accounts link to one ID or there are foreign players using
the ID. Therefore, if you only want to have a try on AION, just choose
one and use them. If you want to play constantly in the C-AION, you’d
better find a safer ID.

4. Update your client

SDO’s
server just on last night, you can update your client now. When you run
your client, you may see this picture. This time SDO prepared 2 groups
of server: the “电信” one for the south part of Chine and the “网通” one for the north part of China. I suggest that oversea players choose the “网通” server(the 2^nd one) which has much less people than the “电信” the proportion is about 1:15.







Then you see this interface, click the marked button to start update







If you can’t run the client, go to this page to download the patch1 marked in the picture.

If you can’t update, download the patch2 marked in the picture.

it wont.a lot of ppl have tested it in korean beta and told me it is nice.i have watch video clips of combat and stuff and they are good.aion is more like a combo of 2 moons and wow and perfect world.

its p2p so join us only if u keen.our aim is own the server we go and be top 1 clan there :)

I'll pass on p2p games for now due to my limited free hours. Hence you only see me exploring instanced types currently. Still, Aion's standard good enuff to win my thumbs up. But...
My opinion: NCsoft's development crew might have shot themselves in the foot by releasing the B&S trailer (i still drool over it).

ya esp since b&s release date is very close to aion release date due to aion being delay.its very hard to make a decision lol. i will prob play aion first and test blade when its out also before making a comparison

B&S will release in first months of 2010 like march or april , but yes thats about Korea for now

2010 can be true, but it can be delayed too :)
I"ll set with Aion for sure, im waiting for this for a long time now. Most probably i will casual player on the chinese server just to get used with it ^^
