    Japanese company TECMO has cancelled the development of their MMORPG BASTARD! Online, a game that was based on a cartoon under the same name. The game's official site has closed with a notice left there. According to the official, the cancel of the game is due to the too long development time which TECMO can't afford. Besides, they made the decision based on their market forecasting. BASTARD! Online should have been TECMO's first ever MMO, but now we have to wait.

    Bastard Online, the massively-multiplayer money pit (M.M.M.P.) based on Kazushi Hagiwara's semi-popular Shonen Jump manga that Tecmo spun into development over four years ago. It will be released as an MMORPG for the PC at an undetermined date during 2009. Bastard!! is a anime serial which has been continued 20 more than years from 1987.
