Shu, depending on the release date of GW2 I might be able to lead it
Basically if it's released before summer, I ll have a few months of free mmo time If they decide on fall release, I ll definitely not be able to free up enough time

I'm pretty convinced by this game
Think it's time to start making a GW2 section And open recruitments
Here's the a thing to consider though
Which mindset do we want for this game, and how we ll promote us to new recruits
Personally I've always loved the all-round guild setup, but usually you won't be at the top of PvP with that Having some fanatic pvpers also means the pve progress will not be the fastest but we can enjoy all parts of the game this way
PvP is just aiming to be top of the pvp, would mean that we'd work on getting our name on all possible pvp objectives etc, but this setup would neglect quite a lot of the other game features outside of pvp
PvE would still mean allround, but the guild wouldn't focus that much on the pvp side and more on clearing all raids, helping each other progress through stories and community in general

depends how much flexibility does gw2 guild have.
personally i doubt gw2 will have much content to last long for pve for long term to hold interest more than 3 months tops.so i will go for either all rounder or pvp if we aiming to stay long

I subscribed 3 times with dif PC/IP adress/e-mail for GW2 beta. Hope I get in hehe ! Gonna test it to death once the beta is out !
Oh and, remember our "friends" from RageQuit guild back in the old years? Saw a guild recruitment from them on Gw2 guru forums :P Hope we can pwn them again in WvWvW and PVP.
The WvWvW will be so amazing, looking forward to play it ! Looks very similar to Dark age of Camelot which was insanely fun! :D

Well the pre-ordering starts on the 10th Thania, so even if some of use (most of us probably) can not manage to get in through simply signing up, as long as we pre-order a copy of the game we automatically get into the beta weekends and also get enrolled through the early-access program -just like with what NCsoft did with Aion.
Plus i believe there are some additional goodies as well for pre-ordering.
But anyway, 7 more daaaaaaaays til pre-order.

Now that i think about it, i know most major retailers have been taking pre-orders for a little while now, but i wonder if we get the pre-order bundle right away from the retailers or do we have to wait for the 10th for that.

lol didn't know you could pre order a pre purchase :P
I did (i came close to pre-ordering it a few weeks ago XD), but at the time i just was not sure which would be cheaper, haha; I'm on a budget now so i was trying to wait to see if the Digital copy which comes out on the 10th would be 10 bucks cheaper then pre-ordering online at Gamestop.
But as i just found out, the digital copy on the website is the same as the pre-order at Gamestop (haven't looked to see what the sales tax/shipping will be), so i guess it's a choice of whether or not i rather have the digital copy so i can just download and install it right away, verse having to drive my lazy butt to Gamestop and pick up my boxed copy.
If pre-ordering the pre-purchase gets me into beta weekends right away, i will pre-order my pre-purchase right now, but only if that's the case. XD
EDIT: Okey so i just found out that it does not matter when you pre-order, the beta access for pre-purchase only goes live on the 10th, the retailers just submit your information to the pre-purchase list is all, so i might as well simply wait and buy the Digital copy when the pre-purchase goes Live on the 10th.
