only b2p and f2p the list off f2p mmorpg is very big many games to try so for new mmorpg always hard to get players

| Yeap, Froggy TERA going F2P too, just updated their webby. http://tera-europe.com/tera-club.htmlI agree Gen, the MMORPG market now is way oversaturated. With each release the slice of the pie for each company gets smaller. Better to attract a larger volume of players by being F2P and then counting on the minority to invest in microtransactions. The P2P model isn't as viable anymore as it was a decade ago. I think only a MMO with a wide range of innovations from the norm can pull it off now. Most just design a game with one very nice feature (TERA's combat, for example), and everything else about it is either mediocre or just plain sucks. | |

| Berserker = Best BAM soloer (but not as wanted in teams)
Knight = Most wanted EZ mode tank Priest = EZ mode healer Sorc = EZ most wanted DPS
The others are harder and thus less wanted

You mean Lancer, not Knight :p Lancers actually qualify as auxiliary damage dealers now, their damage output has been raised. Warriors are now bottom of the stack as far as DPS output is concerned (not including priest and mystic). Berserkers mobility issues have also been lessened and have moved up the pecking order. Something like this: Slayer/Sorc Berserker Archer Lancer Warrior Descending order in DPS output.

| Not really, my last login was before New Year's. Then again all I did was attend nexus raids and log off right after. Mostly back playing Pandora Saga and a bit RO2 when really bored.
There's nothing to do once you've cleared all the instances, unless you like repeating them to gear up for the next update. The most basic gear in the upcoming update outshines the best currently available, so honestly it's pointless to farm for it unless you wanna.
For the newly interested, do not play TERA for the PvP. I strongly recommend playing other stuff like Lineage if you're leaning towards that.

| I'm working on my Drow Paladin in Dungeons and Dragons Online until Wizardy Online launches on the 30th. Then from there I'll wait for Neverwinter.
It's a shame Tera just isn't cutting it content-wise right now, because it's a very pretty game.

It's a shame Tera just isn't cutting it content-wise right now, because it's a very pretty game. Wizardry Online was developed by the same company that made Pandora Saga. You can see very similar art elements/direction, and I suspect combat will be very close to what PS has as well.

The Combat is actually more like Dark souls then anything, Wizardry has a very Westernized feel to it, which i suppose is deliberate. I had been playing the Beta phases since last year and the game is pretty interesting. The Soul system and perma death system is quite different then what most people are used to.

ore are there some save zones and limit to pking ?? It's honestly not as bad as i thought it would be, i played on the PvP server on the US version and i think the players were more PK-happy then the European players.
Remember a lot of kids from around my part of the world are so used to playing shooter games like Modern Warfare and Battlefield, so they tend to get really blood-thirsty in PvP-style games. xD
Worse comes to worse, it'll be a lot like bake when we all played Rohan together, which wasn't all that bad in retrospect.

| the point is i love to go to a pvp server np but i need the time to lvl up also and not get hit by high lvl noobs that things killing lowbies is fun
Dekaron had some save areas first also there was some limits to pking
even guards was placed in some areas so when your red and a guard sees you he come after you and kill you in 1 hit :)
obove 500 IP means there you kill players so you get IP but above 500 and a player kill you then you end up in jail ^^

| There are some safezones in Tera And areas with guards
Also high lvl noobs get bored real fast of pking low lvls, so it really is not as bad as you make it sound.
I've played RoM on a full PvP server and as long as your guild is not in war with another guild playing on a PvP server isn't all that bad.
Also Tera's dungeon finding system allows you to enter dungeons from anywhere and with players from all servers, so you would literally be able to avoid all pvp if you need to

| Ya, extremely often you will get matched with refugees from pvp servers when using the dungeon finder, wonder why *cough*. Not to mention TERA's pvp is retardedly skewed in favour of certain classes, assuming all are played with equal amount of skill/gear. | |
