It looks like PC players are feeling a
little left out when it comes to this year's most difficult RPG: Dark
Souls. Following an incredibly positive reception for this notoriously
punishing game, players took to the Namco Bandai forums to push this
publisher for a PC version of the game. After the rallying cry went out,
Namco Bandai staff member "Shoupinou" posted on the forums
to say that "adaptation is possible," and that "the demand has to be
properly done. Someone to make [sic] a successful petition?"

Of course, that was all those internet folks needed to get rolling, and over the course of three days, the "Dark Souls for PC" petition has already grown to 52,000+ strong. As to what this means for FROM Software and if a port is on the horizon remains to be seen, but a PC port means a more robust online community (or even a stable one), I'm going to buy copies for all my friends so we can suffer together.
