Summer 2011 Visual Guide Empty Summer 2011 Visual Guide

Post by Beebo Sat Jul 09, 2011 11:04 pm

So I've noticed that the summer anime shows have started rolling in >_>

    Who's watching what?
I feel lazy...and/or the new shows don't seem to appeal to me much, lol

Considering Mayo Chiki! because I like girls pretending to be guys or guys pretending to be girls...and I like butlers..XD

I only watched 1 of the new shows so far (baka test Ni) but I'm definitely going to watch Nekogami Yaoyorozu, Mayo Chiki and Itsuka Tenma no Kuro Usagi. I dont think I have to say why I'm gonna wtach those shows since the reason is just too obvious 169

Last season's Deadman Wonderland series was excellent.

    For Summer, I pick:

    1) Blood C. Story seems weaker than Blood+, but I'll give it a chance.
    2) Blade - despite the fact that the other Marvel animes were poor, I'm a sucker for it.

Watched the first of Blade, was as bad as xmen and wolverine lol...
love the original stories but this marvel anime moving all the story to japan is retarded....

Yeah Deadman wonderland is awesome, you should read the manga ts even better, still watching AO no exorcist, pretty good as well.

But seriously this is one of the best shows I've seen in a long LONG time.

Blood-C is also a show I've been watching with anticipation for new episodes, although last weeks episode really rubbed me the wrong way, it was CENSORED! so they showed no guts and gore due to black bars being in the way.

I loved the original series. And I like the new anime version of it so far. I think it's the only good remake this year so far. The other re-do's were lame. Like wolverine = lame, Blade = lame
But Thundercats = Looks like a good anime series is born. Hope it stays good :)

WOW! I had no idea there was a new thundercats show. I guess since its US animation and not jap, the ppl at animetake didnt bother putting it on their website. Thank you sooo much Val for sharing this juicy info. Im definitely going to watch it 169

Also, Penguin Drum is great but I enjoy the cute penguins more than the show's plot.

Btw, this is the new list for those who are interested.

The new anime season has sooo many good titles I'm probably gonna watch most of them.
The only ones im sure I wont watch are B-daman, lupin, battle spirits, tamayura and fujilog.

And the most important: WE R FINALLY GETTING THE THIRD SEASON OF SHANA yay

I'm watching High School of the Dead atm, kinda neat lots of gore etc!

Watched the first 3 ep's of thunderCats nice anime so far, but then i remember watching it 22+ years ago too when it got banned off NZ tv for to much violence lol, so far I'm glad the stuck to the original character designs for the most part.

just finished watching Kaze no Stigma

    and started watching Ga-Rei Zero

Oh poor Shu. U will regret watching Hidan no Aria. The only really good thing about the show is that Rie Kugimiya voiced the twin-tailed tsundere protagonist.
And Deadman wonderland needs a second season T_T
