Final Fantasy XIV recaptures first place in Japan

Everyone can relax now! Well, OK, perhaps it’s not that simple. But the
fact that FFXIV is the top-selling PC game in Japan is a pretty big
deal. Final Fantasy XI had a pretty stable (and sizable) population, but
make no mistake – the Japanese market was the anchor for the
playerbase. If this game continues to make up lost ground in Japan, it
will almost certainly have the playerbase to have a long, successful
life. In related news, trolls in the FFXIV General Forum suddenly became
even more emo than usual.

tot current state of the game is still same with better changes to gui and features my guess the up in sales in japan is from the confidence they have the game will be much improve later onward.
