Microsoft has applied to patent a controller that operates on the principle of electromyography, or feedback generated by human muscles.

Called EMG, this technology tries to emancipate players’ hands from overusing physical control such as keystrokes. The system uses a series of connectors attached to an armband, The armband leverages Electromyography (EMG). As you can see in the video, this creates a system that translates the electrical activity found in our muscles into instructions for a computer. Or a Guitar Hero air guitar.

    Microsoft patents EMG muscle sensors.

We posted an article about another new game tech, Full Motion Capture Technology, before. Full Motion Capture Technology makes your control so true that just like you could touch the game characters with your fingers. If these technologies can finally appear in MMORPGs, you would experience a real combat while fighting with enemies.
