According to Eorzeapedia, the beta will grow, adding more and more people each round. If your application is not selected for the first round, don't lose hope! You will still be eligible for other rounds of the beta testing phase! Those that are selected at any point during the beta testing phase will be able to continue to participate until the end of the beta test.

yes, WORLDWIDE with them means WORLDWIDE, we ll have Japanesee and Korean players on same servers as EU and Americans

ppl are speculating the special announcement on feb 28 2010 will be either about FFXIV beta date or new major expansion regards to FFXI

so hope it will be about FFXIV ^^ the date feb 28 is very near ppl estimate the beta will start around march to april :`dream:
