And Square-Enix screwed Sony over cuz Microsoft pays way more and now they publish most stuff for both, which is perfectly fine with Microsoft cuz Square-Enix was the main reason for a lot of people to buy PS stuff which is not the case anymore

Surprised? Square Enix’s thirteenth game based on the legendary JRPG franchise sold over 1.5 million copies. According to data on Enterbrain’s site, those 1.5 million copies were sold on the first four days in Japan. How about day one sales? Oh, about 1.1 million.

Of course, this would mean that PS3 consoles are sold by the boatload, and you’d be right. About 240,000 or so consoles were sold in that same week FFXIII was out, including the Pink Lightning edition (which is probably out of stock in Asia by the time you read this; these things sell like hotcakes, you know). Goes to show that the FF name still means something still despite its numerous iterations and the fact that the original people behind the franchise are not involved in this particular game.
