at PW you can buy literally everything from cash shop, not just looks
you have 0,000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% chance of getting your enchants as high as cash shop gets them for you, without cash shop
And PW enchants dont just change game a bit, they'r game breaking, since the higher you enchant whatever the bigger the bonuses, the more you have to spend, so someone who spent $5000 (which is no where near enough to have max max stats in PW games, will have an easy win vs someone that spent $100, but that $100 ll have an easy win vs someone who spent nada)
And if you tell me you rather spend more time, then money. Time = money.
If I spend 10 hours grinding for in game cash, which is tedious and harder then my actual job, then buy the equivalent of the cash shop currency which I would be able to buy from 30minutes extra working at my actual job, I rather just take the easy route and ask to work for 30 more minutes at my job, then take a big long 9h nap at home, and be at the same point as I would have been after 10 hardcore money grinding.
That's PWs cash shop for you.
If you like it, that's totally up to you, but I have great issues with the you just buy everything you see.
As for the cool looks etc, p2p games have proven to offer enough distinction without cash shop.
Just 1 of my recent examples would be DC Universe, you can match and combine any item looks you found in game, and show those instead of your actual armor, recolor it as often as you want, change parts of the gear as often as you want, change your characters avatar, completely free, and as often as you want. You look as cool as you can imagine yourself and change it as often as you want, and all of that without having to spend a fortune over n over.
There are actually a few games, that have shown a decent cash shop, but usually those cash shops got expanded to offer imbalancing items in the long run, and so far I can't name a single f2p game that doesn't have a fail cash shop.
PW is just the one going over the top with theirs, by making their whole game balanced arround it, and copy pasting the whole thing including the cash shop over and over.
