If you log into the game after updating. You will have a big chance of seeing only 1 server and not having your character.

GM NOTE:
That's probably because the "Record Server"-check-box is working now and you are jumping right to the character selection of the last server you were on. (it just picks a random server 1st time)

If you want to change the server you are playing on, please click on "Select Server" in the top right corner of your screen, just below the server name you are on.

Edit: What you are seeing on the left is not the server selection but the channel selection.
