Re: Kingdom under Fire IIreview by steparu The G★2009 Kingdom Under Fire 2 trailer is now available in Ultra HD for your viewing pleasure. Not much to say without spoiling the whole trailer other than the video shows off a couple gameplay cuts where you can see the HUD menus. This is one of those games I will definitely be playing since I am war junkie when it comes to huge battles. Another must see trailer of 2009 for foreign gamers.
I will probably be needing a new gameplay recording computer for all these upcoming games Hangame is making. Developer: Blueside & Phantagram
Re: Kingdom under Fire IIthis is like w3k but new generation and in medieval fantasy setting awesome ^^ however no clues how the battle maps gameplay will be like hehe. so far most new gen mmo seems to be arcade style with no click in korean
Re: Kingdom under Fire IIThey finally brought back the tactical version of the game which is nice :)
Re: Kingdom under Fire IILee Hyun Ki, once taking charge of the development of Kingdom Under Fire: Circle of Doom and working as the development director of the MMORPG - Project T, has left Blueside and set up a new company specializing in game development. According to the news released in South Korea on Jan. 27, the directorLee Hyun Ki left Blueside at the end of last year together with the development team of Project T, and established a new game development company called "INUCA" independently. Project T's development is still going on in INUCA. And Neowiz Games, which signed an agreement with Blueside concerning the development of Project T last year, has already signed a new agreement with INUCA. As someone from Neowiz Games disclosed, INUCA has taken over Blueside as the sole developer of Project T by law, and the agreement signed between Neowiz Games and Blueside has become invalid as well. With the new agreement signed between Neowiz Games and INUCA, the development and operation of Project T will not be influenced at all. Project T, which Blueside developed by using the Fame Tech 2 engine, has attracted lots of attention. At the end of last Jul., Neowiz Games signed an agreement and obtained the worldwide publishing rights for this game. According to the info unveiled at that time, Project T takes the "actions" unreachable in console games as its key feature. But no detailed game info has been revealed till now. Kingdom Under Fire 2 Wallpaper Additionally, the development and operation of Kingdom Under Fire 2, a highly-anticipated strategy action online game being co-developed by Phantagram and Blueside, will not be affected either. Someone from NHN, Kingdom Under Fire 2's operator in South Korea, said that Blueside was running normally without being affected by the quit of Kingdom Under Fire 2's former developers, and the agreement between NHN and Bludeside still took effect. According to him, Kingdom Under Fire 2 is expected to start the test in the first half of 2010.
Re: Kingdom under Fire IIIt is widely rumored that Kingdom Under Fire 2, a well-known epic project being developed by Blueside, is encountering development trouble. Particularly, after the following two matters: 1) the development team of Blueside's another new project Project T left Blueside and set up a new company called "INUCA" According to related reports in South Korea, the above mentioned development team began to quit Blueside last summer and this matter wasn't made public till this January. The quit of Project T's development team, Bludeside's lack of money and Kingdom Under Fire 2's difficulty in further development were all reported then. Moreover, Kingdom Under Fire 2 just had no more news after the release of several trailers in 2009. Some former employees of Bludeside even claimed that Blueside failed to pay salaries on schedule and didn't give the due severance pay, further worsening the situation of Blueside.
Does Blueside really encounter a bottleneck in the development and cannot release Kingdom Under Fire 2 just as the rumor says? Recently, NHN, the holder of Kingdom Under Fire's operating rights, Blueside and Phantagram have dispatched their respective representatives to answer the heatedly-discussed questions. Q: Is DirectorLee Hyun Gi, who quit Blueside and established INUCA, one of the founders of Blueside? Q: What did he do in Blueside? Q: Why did this founder leave the company? Q: It's rumored that Blueside has trouble in the finance. Q: Did you feel sorry for the transfer of Project T that's under development? Q: So the development team of Project T left too? A: After Lee Hyun Gi left, those responsible for Project T's development left as well and joined INUCA. Q: Is there any problem in the developers of Kingdom Under Fire 2? Q: How's the work environment now? Q: There's a rumor saying that Kingdom Under Fire 2 is facing development problems. Soe Jang Hu: Lee Hyun Sim, once worked for Dragonfly and created Karma and Special Force, has also been invited as the development director of Blueside. This just enhances the game's networking and server performance. Q: The delay of Kingdom Under Fire 2 confuses the public. Can you share with us the reason for the delay? Q: The fact that no related screenshots or trailers have been unveiled recently makes people feel the delay more deeply. Q: According to the trailer unveiled last year, it seems that the game has almost been completed, right? Q: What's the future plan for the game?
Re: Kingdom under Fire IIKingdom Under Fire II is being developed for the PC and consoles under the slogan 'war is the true royal sport', with the goal of perfecting the action-strategy RPG genre. The storyline continues from where the previous games in the Kingdom Under Fire franchise left off in terms of the timeline. In addition to the familiar factions in the franchise, 'Human Alliance' and 'Dark Legion', there is a third faction, 'Encablossian', and the player's main goal will be to expand, through many battles, the territory of the guild or the country to which the player belongs. The player will be able to write his or her own history by fighting against thousands of other players in massive battles, while also enjoying familiar online game elements (like forming a guild and interacting with other users in the community) at the same time. The latest in-game footage showcases one of the PvE maps, 'Greendale', in which the players work together to take on wave after wave of enemies. Units that have not been revealed before such as the 'Swamp Mammoth', 'Mortars', and 'Dark-elf Cavalries', show their prowess in an epic battlefield where the eye-catching visuals, non-stop action, and realistic combat that the title is known for can be seen throughout, along with numerous flashy effects. BLUESIDE's in-house game engine, 'Fame Tech 2', and the company's high level of competence made it possible to implement the massive and highly-detailed battlefield. The heroes lead a countless number of units and continuously use flashy abilities, all without a drop in frame rate. 'This latest footage was captured directly from real-time gameplay, and will serve as an answer to many fans who were wondering about how the gameplay will shape up. This footage will also silence the naysayers that questioned whether it was possible to implement an online game where a massive number of units are displayed simultaneously, with a level of action typical of a console game.' says Sang-Yoon Lee, the producer/director of Kingdom Under Fire II. 'This is the first in-game footage that showcases the level of network play we aimed for. The player will be able to enjoy smooth gameplay online even with thousands of units being displayed at once. What we're trying to achieve is a new kind of experience that no other game has done, by overcoming those kinds of technical difficulties.' added Lee. He continued by saying that they are expanding the scope of play testing a bit, that as we speak the system of Kingdom Under Fire II is near completion, and that he is currently considering releasing a test build in which users can participate. Heavily-armed with unprecedented highly-detailed graphics, a deep and rich storyline, and a never-before-experienced game genre, the highly-anticipated beta test is planned for late 2010.
Re: Kingdom under Fire II
Re: Kingdom under Fire IISouth Korea-based NHN released a 7-min promotional film for Kingdom Under Fire 2 at G-Star 2011 to showcase the game from multiple aspects, including scenario, characters, large-scale battle, etc. This promotional movie mainly introduces the player characters in Kingdom Under Fire 2 as well as the application of operational methods. The movie begins with scenario which connects Kingdom Under Fire 2 with its prequel Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders and helps players understand the world of Kingdom Under Fire 2. Following that, we can see zeppelin, castle shot from different angels and players engaging in battle and interacting with each other in town. And players have a chance to see future playable characters in Kingdom Under Fire 2 first-hand, particularly the sexy Spellsword. In its latter half, the movie shows the core element of Kingdom Under Fire 2 – large-scale war. The war scene created based on BLUESIDE's in-house developed engine "FAME Tech 2" is as magnificent as in The Lord of the Rings. The development team introduces how to manipulate different arm units through the real large-scale battle between two factions. Particularly, it is marvelous to see Bone Dragon which appears at the end of the movie give expressive damage. In addition, the stunning AOE skills of different characters are another focus of this movie. NHN didn't reveal the relevant CBT schedule for Kingdom Under Fire 2 at G-Star 2011 though it indicated in April this year that the open beta testing could be expected at the end of 2011. It seems players still have to wait quite a long time before the game is officially released since no CBT schedule has been confirmed.
