Well...I'm just going to post a few questions and also post a few answers to those who haven't played any of Aeria's Closed Beta tests.
First off, about Closed Beta Tests:
Q: Will characters be deleted after closed beta?
A: Yes, all data will be wiped
Q: Will characters be deleted after open beta?
A: No, nothing will be. But remember, it is still beta.
Q: What is the purpose of closed beta?
A: To test the game, look for bugs, and report them.
Q: Will there be a CB award?
A: Unlikely, but a reward all CB testers will get is game knowledge. Smile
Now for questions I don't know the ansers to about CB and the game:
Q: When does Closed Beta start?
A:
Q: When will the website be up?
A:
Q: How many classes are there?
A: The game is not divided into specific classes. Your "class" is determined by your stats and skills. You may be better at magic, using swords, guns, etc.
Q: Is there any PvP? If there is, is it any good?
A: No
Q: Whats the main overal purpose of the game? Can it be beaten?
A: There is no end (yet)
Q: How many different weapons and armor types are there?
A:
Q: What is a good thing for new-comers to do when they enter the game?
A: Play the tutorial
--Other player asked questions--
Q: How looks gameplay? Is this some sort of dungeon game where you form party in a city, and you cant find players on exploring maps unless they are part of your team?
A: You can create a party at any time as long as all the players on on the same channel. You see everyone else and what they are doing at all times except for in private dungeons. In a dungeon only the members in the party at the time of dungeon creation can enter the dungeon.
Q: How do you gain acces to new places?
A: You walk, ride a devil, or use teleport stones. One "virtual" town is off limits until you finish act 7 if I remember correctly (Protophia).
Q: How many places are there to explore in the game?
A: You start in 3rd Home, east of that is Suginami field. East of Suginami field is Shinjuku. Shinjuku has the entrance to Protophia (neutral town). East of Shinjuku is Ichigaya field and east of that is Ueno. North of Ueno field is Sohouzan (chaos town). South-east of Shinjuku is Shibuya field. South of Shibuya field is Shinagawa field and south of that is Arcadia (law town).
Q: How big are those places?
A:
Q: Is Pking allowed? Dueling?
A: There is no PvP
Q: Is there any English site that can help with the demons, etc?
A:
Q: Is there a big grind? Are quests helpful in leveling?
A: The main quests are helpful at low levels but not much at higher levels. Yeah, there is a lot of grinding.
Q: Do common monsters perform some sort of special attacks?
A: Enemies do not, your devils can use special fusion moves. Think like a limit break.
Q: How long does it take to fight a boss?
A: Depends on the boss and your level. Anywhere from seconds to 10 minutes.
Q: Whats is the level cap?
A: 90 right now (could change later)
Q: How do demons gain exp?
A: Same as your character except some types (like immature demons) will take less or more exp to level.
Q: What is the demon level cap?
A: 90 - Same as character
Q: How many skills can you learn with a single char?
A: There is a skill point cap, but not a limit of say 10 skills max. See my post in the devil screenshot thread for a better description.
Q: Is there some sort of craft?, if so- what can we craft?
A: Weapons and guns. There is also devil crystal (mashou) enchanting.
Q: Is there some shop- not cash shop- where we can buy new accesories that makes our char look cooler?
A: Yes
Q: Are costumes from the cash shop permanent or expire after time?
A: Every item has a durability. For example my Yukata has 30/30. When I get hit or use my weapon that durability goes down to say 2/30. If it goes to 0/30 it can still be repaired. Different shops repair items better. When repairing you have a chance to lose durability and it may end up 25/25 [30] or something. At this point you have to use repair tools/kits to restore that max durability. You can never repair it above the initial max (30 in this case). Repair kits/shells are CP (cash shop) items and rare treasure prizes from Shibuya Quartz bronze dungeon and Gold level dungeons (there are two: Suginami Makai Koudou Gold and Ichigaya Bunker Gold).
Question: Where can I get the cerberus?
There are a few differnet ones you can get:
Once you beat Act 1 (find the Leader Pixie for Snakeman, the dude with the eyepatch), and he'll give you an injured Cerberus; you can't fuse it, it's level 1, and has so-so attacks, and it will eventually leave you in the later acts.
When you get to level 20, talk to the guy riding the Cerberus right at the entrance of Shinjuku Babel; he'll give you a ring and a level 20 Cerberus, (you need room for it though). You can ride this Cerberus, as well as battle or fuse him. However, the new fused demon will NOT be rideable, only a couple demons are, and they're all pretty high-levelled, and will need to be "trained" to be rideable by bringing them to that guy.
Question: How can I access the underground places?
Which places? Shinjuku Dock has a woman standing out front of the building; if you talk to her and choose the first option both times, you'll get in.
If you're wondering about the Suginami Dungeon, you can walk in and you'll be there, but depending on where you're going after that you'll need an item to go further.
Question: What level do I have to be, just to be able to get the devil that is used for the first page of the "New game, need your opinion" topic, posted by superman. And I already know I need to be level 15 at the very least though. >.>
Er, which one? the the fusion demons? Demon A is Cait Sith, lv. 7 (you can find lower levels wild), Demon B is High Pixie, lv. 15, and the result is Archangel, lv. 17.
Question: Where's a good place to train for a level 7? Razz
The heck is wrong with you, go explore now that you don't have the experience penalty! At level 10 you will start to lose a fraction of your experience once you die; a smaller amount to regen back to a former area you marked, or more to regen on the spot. You can also leave your status similar to a dead demon, so others can revive you if they happen to wander by XD you can find lots of different places with different demons, I almost miss being a newbie XD
Stay in Shibuya for now or try Nakano if you're feeling brave/lucky XD Watch the icons over demon's heads; red means they're stronger than you, blue is weaker. Orthus (two-headed dog) and Gandharva (green goat-man) will probably kill you as they're level 18 and 23, but you can keep trying anyways until you win XD Once you're level 10 you'll have to be more careful though.
