Here is a better descriptions of the more special features
5 weapon choices: spear, sword, blade, claws, stick
3 magic choices able to learn only 1:
Demonic: dmg
Taoist: healing
Buddhist: buffer
Common skills: that everyone can learn
Special: everyone can learn em
There are 5 stats to choose from, each of the 5 weapons needs 1 of the stats to a certain lvl, so most likely the stat you choose as your main will decide your weapon choice.
Weapons use kung fu skills: you start at easiest kung fu skill for each weapon each of these skills have 100 lvls
to lvl up these skills you need to find the master of the according skill (location is given in your skill tree so you can find them easy) Also each skill needs WP to lvl up.
Every time you kill an enemy you gain exp and WP max lvl is 150, but there is no limit to WP, so you will be able to get all the skills that you can choose from to the max in the end.
There are also living skills which is pretty much crafting. They r split up in 2 main skills.
Specialized skills which r the skills to craft: weapons, armors, weapon upgrades, etc. split in 12 different skills (and 3 ??? not sure if those r secret or not implemented yet)
And Practicing skill: which is the gathering skills like mining, farming etc.
Ok back to the combat: the kung fu skill that you learn = a self buff, you use the skill, and it increases your dmg, also changes the way you attack (it's a fighting art instead of a skill)
There are 20 fighting arts for each weapon each has 100 lvls (need WP to lvl) the higher ones ll look more and more spectacular when you fight.
There is also a skill called charge, which pretty much ensures your next attack will hit really strong (can also crit which is insane dmg ^^)
And a skill called full power, which is a temporary buff that increases your dmg, and attack speed, stacks with the fighting art+charge so it's awesome ^^
The game has, pets, holy beasts, mounts (not sure how these all work yet)
Here's what stats do for each point:
Str:
increases maximum weight capacity by 20
max phys dmg by 0,5%
exploding attack rate 0,25% (exploding attack is kind of critical hit)
Subdue Rate: 0,1% (Subdue: there is a chance to lower dmg taken from a hit by 20% this is on top of your defence)
Dex:
Attack speed: +1 (not sure how much 1 point of aspd is and too low lvl yet to see any real difference)
Dodge rate: +1 (same as aspd not sure how much 1 point in dodge really is)
Explode attack rate: 0,05% a lot less then str, but I guess it's pretty cool with the extra attack speed
Sta:
Max HP: +25 but there are skills that add % hp so it gets more
Auto HP recovery: +4 but also % skills passives that ll make it all more the more you have
Meditation HP recovery: +4 too but while meditating it goes up faster anyway
Pneuma:
Max SP (SP is what we are used to call MP needed to cast skills etc) +25
Auto SP rec: +4
Med SP red: +4
Inner dmg (dmg with the magick skills): +0,5%
Energy:
Max MP (this is a 3d bar, it's needed for certain skills, also while lvling up skills it costs mp it auto recharges slowly, and bit faster when mediating also needed for the full power skill) +2
Accuracy: +1
Subdue rate: +,0,2%
You get 2 stat points each lvl up at the start, and these points get more later lvls. But stats cost more stat points too once you lvl them, untill lvl 5 cost 1 point, then lvl 6+ 2 points ( don't know about later lvls)
mm a little thing to dislike: movement is mouse only
