Runes Magic - Our new next mmorpg ( its an order! from me ! xD )

actually it also depend on company that run the game.

i read in china version.they mess the game up that it end up like rohan.ppl leaving in masses.

1.people found a replicate bug and copy thousand of items but company dont dare to wipe server and compensate people for their loss and restart again in case people dont come back

2.people found a way to speedhack in game << rumour only so far.maybe true maybe false

3.the event in game was poorly thought out and cause people to spend money on it then they have to cancel it halfway

4. still bugs and unbalance issue with some of the classes.in chinese version warrior/rogue is suppose to be the strongest class and mage and priest class is just pve or support.


of course all i say was regards to way china/taiwan managed the game.hopefully this german company who managed the western version will do a better job.+i heard they have the rights to change anything in the game so they can fix a lot of stuff.

more concern about close beta not wipe if nothing is wrong during close beta

as for name i wish to call it Gaia

I say we name it Guns N' Roses.

Servers
-there won't be any PvP/RP servers at release.
-if the community, however, wants PvP/RP servers, Frogster will fulfill their wishes.
Crafting:
-you have access to all crafting skills from the very beginning.
-on higher levels you've gotta choose one skill tree.
-crafted items can be just as powerful as rare dungeon drops.
-you can storage your crafting items in your own house.
-as a blacksmith, you can have an anvil in your house, for instance.
Housing:
-you can move items freely in the house.
-there's no limit for items in your house.
-wall colors and some other extras aren't planned, yet.
-there's a dummy, on which you can try out armor and stuff.
Character:
-you can dye your hair in game.
Rune System:
-runes on armor add special stats/abilities
-items with slots can be equipped with special stones.
-it's possible to merge runes. merged runes will have different effects(depending on the runes you merged together)
-you can gain runes from weapons. and you can merge those with other items.
-upgrading items doesn't always work. different factors decrease/increase the chance that it'll work.
-the weapons won't be destroyed, if it the upgrading doesn't work.
-however, after the upgrading fails, you can't use the same runes on that item again. you'll have to use different ones.
-runes can teleport you to different locations.
-the rune system will be very complex.
PvP
-there'll be different game modes, such as capture the flag.
-capture the point
-more will come, in future updates.
-guilds can build huge castles
-in GvGs, guilds can try invading the enemy castle, on instanced maps.
-there'll be a PvP ladder
-you can win different goodies like runes and stuff, through the ladder
Mounts
-you can rent horses from the very beginning.
-on higher levels you can buy a mount. that'll last for ever.
Addon
-there's a chance that an addon will be out by christmas/end of the year.

ur own house, crafting, GvG castles, man this game will totally shut out Rohan unless RoM will laggy wish i hope not since i dont get lags b/c my comp pwnts, LOL. right now i just cant w8 LOL.

PvP

Closed Beta Status: It was sticked on the forum thought

Hello everyone,

first of all, i owe you some excuses, that we kept you in the dark for quite some time. As some of you might already thought, we have much work today as the preparation of the closed beta takes quite some time.

I can assure you, that we are working hard to get the closed beta up and running for the first testers.

The closed beta is still going to start today, on 28th of August. So you please just need to stay calm for a bit longer. We all know you are waiting for the keys and the launch of the beta and like i said, our team is working on it, as fast as possible.

So, just watch some GC Videos, game videos, interviews and think about what class combination you'll start with and try not to make to much threads about asking "when the beta will start". We'll inform you as soon as we got new informations ready!


STATUS 16:00 (German Time) - Everything is going fine so far, so it looks good to get an evening full of RoM, but we still do not have an ETA for you.
