    Yes, yes, yes!! Die dieeeee~

Good thing they sold off their Atlus MMO publishing rights (SMT, Pandora Saga) to XSEED before croaking.

they cant do it anymore like FF 6 and 7 after ff 10 it was going very fast down and the ff series was rely bad

its was more about ubber grapics then a good story

but am also from the old generation XD
game like Xenogears and suikoden that are games thet was rely rely good
i stil miss those good old times

Suikoden wasn't long ago on Nintendo DS, was pretty damn awesome still!

As for Square and FF, yes lately they've been fucking around.
But what they'r doing with FFXIV just shows they still have it, just lacked the right feedback.
They've been fucking around so much in fact, that they failed the initial launch, but since they refused to let it fail and go down the drain, they did an amazing job revamping it into a game that actually brings out a lot of the best elements of Final Fantasy lore and what Square Enix can do.

I have good hopes that once FFXIV is running smoothly, Square Enix will actually focus on making their other games engaging again too.

I was on the fence about FFXIV but after having a play in the beta3 weekend, they have done an impressive job, it actually looks and feels good. I really hope they save the name!
FFXIV looks pretty good too for a next gen FF game.

As for a remake of old games to be honest Genlog for us that have played FF7 etc i think it will fail, We have memories of those great games that they will never do justice to for us. Who seriously wants to play the same game over again after already replaying it multiple times?
It might attract a new young audience which is good but us oldies i think it will fail^^.

Its like trying to re-watch an old TV series that was amazing in memory, but when you re watch it after 10-20yrs it looks like shit, so best left as a good memory :)

On a side note Suikoden series was/is amazing hope they do more on the modern gen consoles. I also enjoyed Vandal Hearts if anyone remembers that one :)
