Millions of years ago, when computers didn't exist...
Two groups forged a bond together and from that bond we became known as the Atherius Network.
As years went by, and technology advanced, the constant search for a new life and a new beginning emerged.
When we encountered a mysterious force, from what is called the computer, it pulled us into the magic world of MMO's.
And now in the year 2012, we are able to call ourselves a group of skilled and experienced gamers that have been around for millions of years... waiting... for that one game to bring this bond to its peak.
When Guild Wars 2 emerged, we swore to create yet another legacy.
We will take on this new challenge together, we will make new friends and once again we will live up to the reputation of Atherius Network.

Our recruits joined us from the many countries of the world, geared with just a mouse and a keyboard.
With our arms wide open we welcomed these newbies into our one home, our Atherius Network.
We play games all day, we play games to have fun and while playing games all day we always become one of the best.
Thus we finally realized this: as long as we stay awake for 24hours a day, we will definitely be the best.

We have a mix of casual gamers and gamers that don't sleep at all, but we have only one motive and that is to play the game... until there is no game left to play.
We built a community of friends that share a bond, respect each other and honor their guild.
We are all mature gamers and will always look out for one another, but stalking is out of question.
We also shall not leave any woman behind!

As someone once said. I have a dream...
To be among the top guilds and players in every game and not die of fatigue while achieving this.
To Love our community like a father and mother loves their child while maintaining our unique spirit and integrity.
To be the gamers that we are and enjoy the rise and fall of the game.
These are our goals, our dreams and ideals.

We will learn and seek further knowledge in what the game has to offer.
We will improve and sharpen our skills through practice, teamwork and discipline.
As an experienced guild we will enjoy each aspect of the game to its fullest, be it PvP, PvE or any other feature.
As an individual you are free to enjoy the game the way you like and we shall back you up on your adventures.

Freedom and respect is very important in our bond.
We ask our members to follow just the basic rules set by the guild and solve disputes with the utmost respect for one another.
We have experienced leaders and officers to help you out when life gets tough and you feel like putting an end to it.
Our members are versatile, with distinct backgrounds, but with one mindset in common...
We are gamers that play to have fun, with our goals aimed at the top and we enjoy our ride there.

This community was created to strengthen our bond and forge a family together... a family with respect and love for one another.
Being kind and helpful to your members is something we strongly encourage, but do not force upon you.
Being a guild with dignity, our goals will not be reached by ill means, and we will not tolerate cheating, harassment or drama-queens.
This does not mean that we will shadow your every move, or won't overlook stupid mistakes and mature jokes are not considered harassment.

When we unite as one, there is nothing the Atherius Network can't do, fear not the game, fear not the members... fear the Atherius Network.
