ok this is probably the p2p pvp mmo that some of us will be aiming for this year and beyond

but i need some feedback as in who else is interested in playing this when it is out.i will probably main this as my main game instead of 14 due to lack of content there when swtor is out so there will be no worries about cant find the guild leader for help since most of u guys should know i am almost always on ^^

so far i know eir,fors,fye and maybe haps/faith is interested in this.

so if u are interested in joining us for this please post ur intentions here in this thread.i will check the numbers and see who is keen on playing this.if there is less then 20 players interested then i will recommend we join another guild in swtor as a collective group together.and if they turn out bad we will just move to another guild like mercenary for the empire ^^

atm we are leaning towards sith faction of the empire

please answer all these when u post

what class are u aiming for?

I'll probably be giving it a shot, at the very least.

I dont really care what side I'm on, I'll probably end up having multiple chars regardless.

I'll be starting out as either a Bounty Hunter in the Powertech spec or the Imperial Agent in the Operative spec.

i will test a few class during beta first before i decide.

but i go for bounty hunter powertech or imperial agent sniper first.

then test sith inquisitor sorcerer or sith warrior juggernaut

most likely my main will be imperial agent sniper

I will probably give this a chance once things get settled around here. I haven't looked at any games for a long time.

Shu you are tolling the demise of XIV already? When is beta starting for SWTOR?

TBH I won't be doing much gaming mid-year onwards, it's my final year of study so I will eventually retire from XIV and leave it at that for 2011.

That being said, I will be mighty tempted to get Diablo 3 when it comes out...

not really demise sava.just 14 content now is geared toward casual gameplay atm and no longer hardcore grinding so can main another mmo

I plan on actively getting back into the MMO scene with SWTOR. I've been doing some beta testing on and off for a while, but nothing has really caught my interest until SWTOR was announced. Although I'm a bit of a good guy when it comes to choosing sides, I'm willing to have a main account with the Empire to team with you all, with likely a casual Republic character on a different server. My plan is to either main a Bounty Hunter Powertech or Sith Warrior Juggernaut.

A coworker of mine has a close friend that works for BioWare, and he was telling me that the Republic was pretty op at the end of the alpha. He brought in his laptop and I watched him play a bit. The game looked fun but you could tell that the republic had WAAAAY better defenses than the sith but the offense was pretty even. They have probably balanced this already since the alpha's been over a while now but I still wanted to their it out there.

Ill join...but after you beta test it and tell me to join or not lol

but considering this game cost so much money to make and western p2p mmo usually is very well polished before they are out i think it will at least keep u interested for 6 months min and if its good maybe 1-2 years :)

I dont know i threw in 700 bucks then i passed account to mad, but i did make the first +12 weap and best pet in that game while it lasted and top money for a about a mth + from the start of ob lol. And also cause its a pve game dont really keep me for long lol

haha ya was fun for awhile but i got bored..

i remove some of off topic post here since the info is not relevant anymore.(was gonna play a mmo to waste some time but found out its a pretty old server) ^^

well, i haven't even seen the movies of Star Wars yet.. so not sure which to go if i went for it..

but been reading a bit about it and will deffo read more... will probably try the Sith Warrior Marauder combination and probably also the Juggernaut one to see which works best for me..

will focus on melee at the start since getting up close and personal is something i tend to do well.. xD Imperial Operative is not ruled out either, so we will see how it goes.. ^^

as said, not sure i will be joining, but i am usually always up to try something new.. ^^

according to them the beta test is on sep next month so we can test the game and decide if its worth it ^^

If when I try it on beta its any good, ill probly buy and play with you guys.

Probly go either Sith Inqui or BountyH.


Would prefer to play on the Republic tho.

its not fixed anyway dark.if most of us prefer republic we can always go side of the force ^^
