    Seven Souls Online is an oriental fantasy game for adults. As the name suggests, this game has a unique Seven Souls System that doesn’t exist in other MMORPGs. Characters are designed as the guardians of Seven Souls which are the force source to create the world, so they must prevent the evil from using seven souls.

    But at the end of the day that statement only holds true if it can make money. Company might force him to change things etc so statement shouldn't be taken so seriously if in the end he doesn't have the power but still worth a shot trying haha.

    Seven Souls (codenamed Project S formerly) which Korea-based CRspace has been developing for more than two years, is an Korean 18+ fantasy MMORPG combining eastern with western styles.     Game World Outlook

    Based on oriental world view and a fictitious east land "Leya" (transliterated), Seven Souls evolves its storyline full of fantastic martial arts content.


    Origin of Leya

    Leya was just a chaotic and dry land before the formation of universe. One day, the above Babylon City disappeared of unknown reason but came into existence in the center of the Leya continent before long, and a mysterious city called Nightin (transliterated) also emerged out of the void, which thus changed the fate of the Leya continent since then and made it stuck in danger.

    Seal Guardians

    In order to stabilize the disordered situation, the city head sent 6 young men to seal the souls. The six warriors summoned the strongest Life Soul by sacrificing baby girl twins to resist turbulent waves towards the city.

    Thousands of years passed, the Leya continent was split into East and West parts which were occupied by Nightin and Babylon respectively. Likewise, people lived separately in one of the two cities and forgot the past things gradually. A new age has begun!

    Magic Organization's Conspiracy


    The Magic Organization (literally translated) which owns the most advanced technology in Babylon is seeking ways to unseal the seven souls so as to replenish their magic and expand their forces. The Moon Men who know the reason why Babylon was destroyed before and the Guardians who protect the Leya Seal learn of the Magic Organization's ambition and begin to raise alertness. Nevertheless, the seven souls' seal becomes weaker and weaker because of being impacted by destructive forces and as a result part of the soul power has leaked and spread all over the Leya continent.

    To enhance the weakening seven souls' seal, again, the Guardians and the Moon Men who have witnessed the past of the Nightin City take up arms and fight for their land.

    Game Features


    As the game is centered on the seven souls system, players have to gather seven kinds of soul power from all over the world to enhance items and initiate skills.

    Characters will be born with a Soul Collector which can help them gather souls automatically. Aside from that, they can obtain souls through battling with the evil. When a certain number of souls are collected, Soul Crystals will be acquired and players can click on one of them to get diversified Soul Stones. In the meanwhile, every time a character advance by 10 levels, he/she can gain a new soul slot after completing a storyline quest, so that he/she can socket suitable soul attribute into his/her character. Additionally, various Soul Stones can be compounded and transformed into a more advanced stone.

    • Moon Man:
      Having escaped from the Magic Organization, Moon Men intend to stop the Magic Organization unsealing the seven souls.

    • Assassin:
      She became an orphan after her mother was killed when she was young, so she thirsts for revenge.

    • Officer:
      With the aim of protecting the emperor and keeping the world's peace, officers take on varied missions and commit themselves to eradicating the Magic Organization which plots to usurp power.

    Seven Souls has a unique Jackpot System. Making use of this system, players can win items, equipment and Exp by laying Exp obtained from slaying monsters, earn attribute bonuses randomly while doing enhancement or acquire duplicate items via the in-game probability design. Even if players engage in harvesting, open roadside chests and play mini games, they will gain similar interesting experiences.

    Diversified Combat System


    In Seven Souls world, specific instances will be opened at a scheduled time and Bosses will await players to challenge. The instance difficulty will be different according to a single player or the number of team members. Players will be teleported there after making confirmation and will receive rewards after defeating Bosses successfully. Combats play is a key role in the game, but players can also enjoy the game settings, social relationship and other storyline content through the quest system. What's more, distinct eastern-style and western-style designs, mini games, jackpot system are all rich elements to make up of Seven Souls.

    Currently, Seven Souls has been undergoing its first closed beta test from December 15th to December 21st in Korea. Only players who submitted applications via its official site before December 10th are qualified to take part in this test.

    Seven Souls Online, developed by CR SPACE will enter 2nd closed beta test on Feb. 18 in Korea. The publisher NHN announced that 40000 players will get the chance to play the game, including 30000 newers and the first beta test players. In addition, the NA version of Seven Souls Online will be published by CR SPACE and open to public in Martch or April.

    Seven Souls Online Story Background:


    I. The Beginning: Nights of the beautiful continent Nehagleamed bright with two moons. Beautiful it may be, but it was no kind place of humans. For survival the Ancients have discovered a powerful force they named Terre, the very souls of Neha. By unleashing its forces, Ancients attempted to gain power over Neha. They have thought they can tame its powers with mana-technology. However it was only a futile attempt. Soon after, the Ancients realized that Terre was destroying balance of the lands. To stop Terre from destroying Nehacompletely, Ancients gathered their last resources to seal Terre forever. A difficult mission, but they overpowered Terre, and have named seven keepers to defend the seal of seven souls of Terre.

    During the early stages of the game (Lv1-25 (Beginner Class)) players
    are engaged with a range of beginner class items, tutorials and basic
    quests. During the beginning class period individuals can also use the
    pet system, jackpot features and other gambling games, along with weapon
    specialization features and upgrades. During the Intermediate phase
    (Lv26-49) players begin to experience more in depth quests and can also
    experience the field dungeons. From lv26 you can also engage in PK
    combat, raids, guilds and other community based systems and finally a
    range of additional professions (i.e. crafting and production). As a
    player reaches the peak (Lv50+) they begin to experience more siege wars
    and guild based regional battles including instances.

    Overall, players are able to experience dynamic and realistic action,
    elaborate effects and a smart skill system. Players can also experience
    unlimited item upgrades and enchantments, as well as no level limits.
    The features that make this game unimaginable include; the Guild War
    Battlegrounds, Pet Growth and Development, Mini-games features (i.e.
    jackpot, gambling, etc) and of course the unique game visualizations.

    I just met WuDi and the rest of Reborn guild in CBT. I didn't know he was the same chap from Rohan Online, until they formed their guild (need to be lvl 25 to create).

    Graphics & music
    Visually, it's like Aika; the world looks sweet. Of course not to the caliber of B&S or FFXIV. Characters and equipment are well drawn. Combat is eye-candy when skills connect.
    Interface windows can be adjusted according to preference. Even word fonts can be customized.
    For music, it has a several different tracks between zones.

    Gameplay features
    Most battles will be engaged in melee. Skills are activated often for combo chains, which can accumulate as long as combat sustains over several targets.

    Diablo-style alchemy cube - allows items to be combined/dismantled/copied. Cube recipes are unknown for now.

    Crafting - players must master 1 or 2 item type to generate market revenue from sale of crafted gear.

    Production - Fishing, farming and mining is another source of wealth for players.

    Travel - Two modes of travel exist. Either teleport between major strongholds or enjoy a ride in a flying caravel across the world for small outposts.

    Instanced periodic battlegrounds - limited by player level

    Instanced dungeons - party based

    Card and Insignia bonuses - attribute buffs from these items increase as a char level up

    Personal bank, guild bank and market exist here. A mail system that allow remote item transfers between players is also featured.

    Quest based - Entirely level quest based. Also, repeatable quests (few) are limited by character level. Eg. a lvl 4 player cannot redo a repeatable lvl 3 quest. So no chance to grind in fixed spots.

    Drawbacks about the game
    No mounts yet...and a lot of ground to cover when moving.
    Gender restrictions in character classes, which is limited to begin with.
    Everyone often fights at melee range.

    so i can say its 60% done really and more is needed?

    i wonder how hackable is it considering it is a new mmo unlike aika.i personally do not like the running and i heard from people its high pc spec req so not everyone will be able to play.

    and from what u posting i get the feeling its a normal mmo and still lacking in more enjoyability

    a friend even told me there is no open pvp

    PvP outside of event battles come in 2 forms: Duel challenge and Open PKing mode
    The former works while the latter is currently set for lvl 20+. The reward/penalty system is not ready yet.

    The game is about 60-70% done, but many features are locked by administrators. I suspect there might be another round of CB. As for specs, this is the minimum requirement:

    VGA : (NVIDIA) Geforce 6600
    with
    128Mb / (ATI) Radeon x1300 with 128Mb
    HDD : free hard drive space
    5GB

    cool thanks for cleaning it up.this could be one of the mmo we can consider playing while waiting for ffxiv or b&s.although i prefer to go for project 9 first to test.

    I suggest u stay in Aika. I'm just CB testing it. It is to my opinion similar to Aika's restrictive play, save for having crafting, gambling and slightly demanding graphics.

    Also guild creation is only possible at lvl 25 - and only if u make it to the 3rd map, Dragonskale. Worst, basic management features such as member promotions and guild bank storage are locked until the guild attains a certain level.

    If u want to try it, just pm me for CB account id and password here... assuming u already have its client installed.
