Riddles? Anyone?

Its easy ... I wil start with a riddle, the next person answers and post another one ... Any riddles in any fashion are ok ^^ *i realli solving riddles XD

However, if the person can't answer the last riddle, he/she can also post a 2nd riddle, while restate the 1st one so the 3rd person knows what he/she needs to answer, quoting is fine, only the riddle part

this is not a detective solving mystery, so please dont post that kind of questions ... >.<


OK here is an old and easy one ...

-> You are a traveler from the cities. Today, you come to the village but you get lost. In front of you, there are 2 roads. On the street sign, it says one of the road is leading to your destination and the other one is a horrible deadend. However, you can't tell which way to go because the direction was blured. Meanwhile, two villagers come. You kindly ask them for direction, but they want to play a trick on you. They said, "One of us will tell lies while the other one will only tell the truth. (Of course, you dont know who will lie or who will tell truth. )YOU can only ask one question. " At the end, you asked them only ONE question and you went on without going to the deadend. What did you ask the villagers??? Explain.

I will ask any one of them 'If I ask the other person beside you which path is the correct one, what will he say?'
I then take the path opposite of the given answer.
Reason: If I happen to ask the liar, taking the opposite path is obviously safe. If I happen to ask the honest one, he will truthfully reveal the unsafe path.
Btw, if conditions permit, I will kill both villagers for attempting to make me a fool before continuing my journey.

I dig out tiny caves, and can store gold and silver in them. I can also build bridges of silver and make crowns of gold. They are the smallest you could imagine. Sooner or later everybody needs my help, yet many people are afraid to let me help them. Who am I?

Nice riddle sianx. The answer is Tug of War.

You are in a room with 3 light switches. These switches are connected to 3 separate light bulbs in an ajoining room. Access to the ajoining room is via a door that remains closed, there are no windows, other people etc etc.

You are allowed to enter the ajoining room once and then return. At no time can you view the light bulbs whilst being able to manipulate the light switches.

Under these conditions, how do you identify which switch is connected to which light bulb?

There is love between them.

A woman carrying two large gold balls flees from a gang of bandits. She approaches a weak narrow rope bridge over a chasm.
A sign nearby warns that the weight limit of the bridge is 100 lbs. Anyone or anything weighing over 100 lbs will cause the bridge to collapse.
The woman alone weights 70 lbs (assume clothing/apparel is weightless)
Each gold ball that she carries weighs 20 lbs.
