Last month we flew to Maryland to report from The Elder Scrolls Online's first press event. While we were getting some hands-on time with the title, we were also watching a nine-minute video that ZeniMax put together in order to introduce the game to a wide audience.
Today the firm has published the clip for the first time, and it features a mixture of fly-through footage, talking head interviews with creative director Paul Sage and lead designer Nick Konkle, and snippets of PvE and PvP gameplay too.

Done. Funny how they actually had an indicator for selection chance based on info entered.

If this is going to be massive then they better do something so that parties spread as much as possible in the game world. Having more than just 2 or 3 starting cities would also help. I just cant imagine playing this game with oblivion level graphics and not lagging at all when fighting in crowded areas.

So i played Elder Scrolls Online two weekends ago, and then i tried out the Wildstar stress test this weekend, and honestly, among a lot of the new games I've played this year, Elder Scrolls Online is really the ONLY game that's grabbed my attention and has not let me go...
I really want to play more of this game... ..badly.

As appealing as it looks I think I'm going to hold out until Arche Age, they will probably release not far apart and i'm not going to invest into 2 games this time round. ArcheAge i think I'm more likely to stay at. Plus for some reason i think ESO is going to have some major game play issues just my gut feeling though ^^

I am currently playing FFXIV and came across ESO. Â What stood out to you that made you enjoy the game so much?
I can't actually go into detail without breaking NDA. xD
All i can say is that it's an Elder Scrolls title through-and-through.
If you've played an Elder scrolls game before then that is basically what it is, except it's online and you interact with other players.
To some that may sound boring and dull, but it's not, it looks great and it feels great.
The only down side in my opinion is it's not out yet.
EDIT: Yes, it does bring a lot of new things to the table that past Elder Scrolls have never tried before, and it also polishes and re-imagines older features seen in past Elder scrolls titles -of course those are the things i definitely can not talk about. :(

After I played both beta so far...ehh yeah..but no. This game is a cash grab. It will go F2P a couples of month after it's release. There's nothing special about it. It's just a poor attempt of making Skyrim online with gimped features of Skyrim combat. Guess I'll wait on something else...

I feel the same.. unfortunately.
When it turns F2P i'll play it just for the storyline (I'm heavily invested on ES lores atm!)

I actually kinda liked it more than I expected. (went in with low expectations)
Really looking forward to testing the pvp aspect.
Thinking about playing on release.

I will be playing. Decided I was going to play something, originally thought of coming back to FFXIV, but then decided to start out at something new since I only had time for one of them.
Most likely playing the Aldmeri Dominion on the US servers got some friends heading there.
