Final Server Choice

Okay so does anyone have a server preference, or servers which we should avoid for sure?

I am thinking about a low ~ medium population server

So let me know if you guys have any specific server in mind, otherwise I ll pick one for us

Are the release server names available?

And do you know of any which are favoring oceanic time zones? (personal preferance) but i'm ez as long as its a US server, and chosen earlier rather than later. got a friends guild I'm trying to influence to join the same server as us^^

These looks nice, I'd go for Gate of Madness, funny name :D

I played on Sanctum of Rall during last BWE
There were like 5 servers not full when I joined late Saturday

Sanctum of Rall was one of them, but was jumping between High/Full
The full servers were not accessible to join

The community on the server turned to be pretty good too, better than what I bumped into on Darkhaven until now

Looking at that list, the ones suggested by Dias seem like good picks too
Neo Tarnished Coast looks like a server that will be pretty high populated just from that list, that means hard to get into that server as a whole guild early on, but will keep it in mind

Facade, the one favored by Oceanic is very high popu
Sea of Sorrows had more traffic than Darkhaven as far as I know

Sanctum of Rall is fine or black gate... either one

But if Blackgate and Sanctum of Rall are empty, we don't want to end up alone on a dead server , we need something with a stable economy too.

They ain't empty, just none of the guilds registered on that list

Yeah, just thought we'd like to win rvrvr sometimes, not that it doesn't have a cap for people , but still if we have less organised guilds

and remember we were playing beta. All the current servers I am sure will be full after launch and new ones will be released.

The low population ones now we are more likely as a guild to be able to get onto them all together, where the others servers will be ques or unable to log in, so it will work in our favor.

plus worst case scenario happens there is the option of server transfers much later :) but i'm sure it wont come to that.

I'll pick Gate of Madness anytime since my other guild is joining there.

I'm planning to play with them again cause I chose to be with Aetherius during Aion and now I should be joining them instead (just to be fair).

So for me, it'll be:
1. Aetherius be in Gate of Madness and I'll be joining both guild.
2. Aetherius be in another server while I stay in Gate of Madness myself.

long as we decide soon so i can convince my friends guild to go there too.

Umm since we might not have a dedicated leader for release, what about we join up with Vynchies guild XD?

We could have ourselves a stronger guild that way and get the bonuses in faster

I'm sure Vynchs friends are good people but I was fully looking forward to running with aetherius since its been a long time we all been together as Aetherius...


We could have a circle of leaders sharing resposibility since none of us seem to have the full time capability for full leadership at this time.

Originally I was planning to lead if the game released before or during summer

The game is releasing start of fall though and I expect a busy time then
Depending on how it goes, I probably won't have the time to fully commit to the game during that period

If the game had released at least a month earlier this wouldn't be an issue, as we would have the time to setup the guild and everything during that month and work from there

I do agree that this could be solved by a leadership circle, but it's always better when the leader can fully commit

Is this game worth it? since GW1 ain't -.- + bought tera and diablo 3 and both fail to entertain me

No idea if you guys like it but the guild is Yakisoba and they'll be a part of Titan Alliance.

As you can see, the guild will be allied among 13 other guild so it kinda makes whatever server they pick to be a big happy family or some sort. Their server of choice are not finalised and may chance during last minute of OBT so it's best to check the website before determine the final choice.

Who will be Aetherius GW2 Guild Master? Snow is stepping down before even start. . I vote Facade to be the leader since he got a whole family playing it.
