See what the Elder-scrolls series is responsible for?
It looks good visually but i can't help but feel this is just Capcom trying to cash in on the Skyrim hype, by combining elements that the RE creators are used to, with RPG/open-world elements, time will tell how effective this will be.
Right now my only reason for purchasing this is i heard awhile ago that either the Demo itself, or an access key for the Demo of Resident Evil 6 will be packed in with copies of Dragon's Dogma.
Squaresoft used to do that with Playstation releases years ago, like back when Xenogears came out, it came with a demo of Brave Fencer Musashi, and how that game had a demo for Final Fantasy 8, it's a good but sneaky marketing tactic that used to be worth while, but i don't know, I guess I'd rather play Resident Evil 6 then Dragon's Dogma altogether.

Skyrim lols... Skyrim is a re-make upgraded version of Oblivion which in return is re-make/upgrade of Morrowind etc. if we'r going to look at this game with those eyes
The mechanics work completely different The monster lore is imo much more appealing compared to Skyrim (dragons dragons dragons) See the Dragons, Gryphoons, Hydra etc in this game
They'r bringing totally new elements to the game You should see the night game-play in this one, total darkness, making it play like Resident Evil type of games
Here's a review from someone that actually played it and was expecting another lame RPG cash in that got his mind completely changed
If you compare this to Skyrim, it only got the good parts of that game And the rest they went on and taken their own view and approach to the game
For me this game is much more appealing than Skyrim ever was Same counts for Kingdom of Amalur which I enjoyed much more compared to Skyrim (in essence very comparable, but with their own take on the game being way more pleasing)

Haha, read my edit, i really don't care to play another game that remotely looks and breathes like Skyrim, i just want to play Resident Evil 6, I'm not really bashing Dragan's Dogma for what it might actually be; i honestly don't know a thing about it, all i care about right now is the access key for Resident Evil 6 that comes with the game. XD;
Edit: Not that i am saying i think this game is Skyrim at it's core or anything, i am sure it's completely different in many ways, it's the whole medieval theme and Dragon's I'm all burnt out on, sorry for the confusion. :)
I'm buying the game either way, so i may be surprised with how much i like it.

You shouldn't let this one just pass Neo Take a deeper look into it before you say no Keep it on your list when you feel like it's time for another good RPG
I can understand your feelings though, for a while there is no good big RPG's and then they push a bunch of em out in a relatively short time

Well that definitely makes me feel better about it, I'm already liking how the level cap is really high and the character customization is way more detailed. :)

They didn't say anything about a pc version but the fact that they used their "MT framework" engine only means one thing: we are gonna get a pc version sooner or later. I'll be waiting for it ^^
