| It outshines every long-running shows out there. And it's getting a movie soon ^^ I think its strong point is the animation. The style and quality is really high for a long running anime. And the blue flying cat named happy is probably the best character in the show  | |

| only just knowticed this post heh,
Yes its a great anime! probally my favorite recent anime. Although the reference you made to naruto the characters have alot of similaritys.
Natsu - Naruto (both hot headed and crazy with concealed hiden power)
Gray - Sasuke (both skilled, cold, and woman love them)
Erza - Sakura (both very strong and controlled but explode when needed)
Lucy could fill sakuras shoes too.
much of the other characters have similar personalitys^^
But what i liked most about fairytail was the type of fantasy magic and guilds like an MMO | |
