Lookie, I wouldn't mind taking the lead on me, and deal with the problems if they occur
(I'd need some peeps to back me up as officers though, especially someone from US and Asian timezones to have leadership covered 24/7)

To begin with I don't think we'd have many problems if we go in there wanting to have a community based guild rather then the number 1 guild as we did in Aika

But if everyone prefers joining up with a guild we'd have to somehow stick together until we find a suitable guild to join

Taking suggestions on which guild we could join as a group, in case you guys already had any in mind ~

Please say if you prefer Emerald or Aqua as a server (my personal thoughts about these in the previous post)

My personal guild choices would be

Arrogance - They always make a good enemy, they make an even better ally

Persona - These guys have some hardcore, helpful and friendly people in there, a good mix (Partly thanks to these guys I hit 40 on all)

Genesis - They made a good ally in Aika, might join them in EE to leave leadership matters to them

HelloGangster - These guys dominated in Legend of Edda, I got to fight vs them, don't know em personally but they got good players

Hotglue - LOL not sure if they'r staying after CB, but that'd be just lols

With Persona as the #1 choice

aika problem is mostly we show our hand too early during close beta and the girls who was too trusting and got the wrong ally who turn on us later on.showing our hand too early got us too many enemies at the start and we have the bad luck of having too few ally at the time.

and dont forget we got a leader who got too busy with rl issue and lost interest and was online much much lesser so we were kinna leaderless.and not to forget many who quit after cb and in middle of ob.

ps:this remind me of angel of chaos guild whom we ally last time during rohan at start heh.they were too strong at start cb and leader quit so early during open beta.^^

and don't forget mina long speech during ending of cb as nation leader,though that is not our fault.ppl always dislike the leader...it's hell being one frankly,i am glad i wasn't leader in aika haha ^^

so unless the leader can be committed and have good officers backing him/her(must have both leader and officer committed) its best to just make guild and focus on being a community guild like snow was saying and focus on having fun as a community and not make it too competitive and aim for top guilds.

since u guys are playing for fun anyway so i doubt we will face all those aika issue in eden hehe.most likely playing as a community guild will be fun and it will be more like what we did in smt and pandora before the lack of content creeps in heh.

oh ya the funny thing is most of time we get really good result as a guild when we are not aiming for top guilds heh.so i have no doubt u guys will have fun inside as long u guys stick together as a guild community and plow through good and bad times heh.

that is if u guys play that long in eden lol,think the real issue is if other new mmo will pull u guys from game later on hehe

if u guys are considering joining another guild as a group i will suggest doing it later on and adopt a wait and see attitude for 2-3 weeks before joining.it is the best way unless u already know the guild in advance in case join the wrong one.

unless making a guild in game is very expensive or troublesome then in that case best to join early and save the work heh.

Waiting for 2~3 weeks, while half of us are aiming to play for that long total isn't the best idea ^_^

Anyway, I personally know quite a few Persona members that were damn helpful and some hardcore at the same time

And I think we all know how Arrogance is (organized and good community inside the guild don't care attitude towards the rest) So even if they are assholes to outsiders they r a good gaming community if we'd go with them

These 2 would be my main choices, because honestly 80% of the EE community consists out of assholes, noobs, little spoiled kids and comparable.

Meaning I wouldn't give a (if you seek amy) about the outside of guild community too much

The other choice, just making a guild ourselves would work too imo, just recruit whoever we enjoy playing with, doesn't matter their lvl.
Don't recruit everyone and don't care too much about low numbers at start. That way we'd have an in guild community that we enjoy playing with, and it'd be easier to get some fresh blood to join us in other games ~

but snow its best just u decide which way is better,and dont let all vote lol.like i say long ago.listening to suggestion is one thing but its best just to have the one who is gonna lead have the final decision after listening to all suggestion/feedback from us cos otherwise it will take too long to get anything done hehe

I'm gonna put quite some effort in this one, but I'm not sure how far I can get everyone else

I'm still not convinced that enough of us ll go seriously enough to have an active guild in there, that's why I'm debating if we should join a guild with similar interests as ours, but then we wouldn't be leading it our way, and if we had any issues with their ideas it might mess us up.

Anyway if you'r up to give it another shot Dark you'd be more then welcome :)
The game might seem meh at some points, but overall you ll enjoy it if you give it some time

I'm up for our own guild if we want to just hang out without having to deal with other people with other agendas..but as mentioned, there's a concern that there won't be enough active members making a guild kind-of a waste..

It's 50 gold to start one if i'm remembering correctly.
To set up a guild town we need guild level 3, 30 members, 500 gold in the guild bank

I might hop on vent when OB starts

The 50g is not a problem, at lvl 40 you can make that in less then 30 min on a single character

I ll try to contact the leader of Persona guild, and talk it over with them, its the only guild I could think of right now which would benefit our gameplay a lot

I ll see what their view of this would be, otherwise we ll make: Aetheria (I think we should start sticking to our root guild name more often for promotion sake)
