| With the launch of teaser site( http://raiderz.pmang.com/), RaiderZ, the working title from Korea-based MAIET Entertainment, released its first game trailer. A few days ago, we only previewed this game from limited screenshots, but we can experience the vividly non-targeting battle in RaiderZ from the trailer today. In order to go with the intense adventure atmosphere, the teaser site showcased a bunch of information about the upcoming 10 Epic Boss as theme. In the trailer, we can take a sneak peek at the dazzling boss battle. There is no class system in RaiderZ. Players are able to create characteristic character specialized in their favorite skills with Skill Focus mode.
- The gameplay is based on what's recently called the "Non-Targeting".
This is not to go along with the recent game trend in Korea but as described before we wanted to make a "MMORPG like GunZ". "MMORPG like GunZ" doesn't necessarily mean that the characters should run along the wall or does k-style - Yes, you cannot do that in RaiderZ. It is a gameplay which requires user's skill and control to hit and evade as shown on the screen at the mouse cursor less environment. Our development team had to struggle for quite some time due to the inconvenience and lack of immediacy and the difficulty of development of the "Non-Targeting" feature.
- The game play mainly consists of fighting against large monsters
called "Epic Monsters". This doesn't mean that there are only large monsters in the game. Like other MMORPG games, the users can fight against small & regular sized monsters and there are many quests related to those monsters. But as the game systems, the game leads to have battles with large monsters and our goal is to be fun even just with that.
- The monsters or quests won't give any equipment or money as
reward. Even the shops will have limited types of items and the users will have to find the "Artisan" NPCs to acquire the items. We wanted to make the item collecting fun and convenient, in order to give infinite motivations to play for the game players.

It's pretty buggy right now, quite a bit of server congestion and texture popping here in there, then again i started playing the moment the servers opened, it's probably smoothed out a little since then, they didn't open any additional channels so everyone was all in the same boat - all 20,000+ testers, which is insane for a single server for a game apparently only in a alpha phase.

| Raiderz was actually kinda fun, but yeah, PW so didn't last too long for me. Be fun if had a guild that just ran around together. Consider how RO2 had a draw even for the type of game it was, mostly cuz of all the ppl that showed up to play ;p I think Raidcall actually made RO2 last longer than it actually kept ppl interested haha | |

| Yea I think it was a good move to use Raid Call Good move from Kenny
Defenitely makes it easier to stay connected even if ya loosing interest in the game or not playing at all
Everyone should just drop by even if playing random games, can have small groups scattered around until we find something fun for all again

| alot of us were playing it for the social/guild enviroment not because of the game type. IMO the game is about 2yrs to late :P but playing with guild is always fun.
Be nice if we get that turn out in ESO or ArcheAge

| you missed the point Gen. (social/guild enviroment) ;p But nm. We are all waiting for a new Generation Game with the elements we are after RO was just another time filler. Currently IMHO there are only 2 MMO's that look like what Aetherius is after, Elder Scrolls online which currently has beta signups so that may not be to far away, and Archeage. ESO trailer https://youtu.be/0jNT5cMwxw0ESO Gameplay https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YlEipFtHw7oArcheage https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v2zm0gABZUgBoth look brilliant, but I'm kinda leaning towards ArcheAge with its massive class system. 120 class combos or something(i like that kinda thing) Will likely play both if i can afford to. | |

| Archeage has the perfect elements for our guild
Class choices Minecraft/Sandbox elements Huge world Beautiful graphics Lots of crafting PvP/Open World PvP Guild owned areas (own keep, own land, houses)
Its almost the perfect mmo for a long term guild venture
TESO and to a degree Neverwinter Online are great games, but Archeage is the only one really offering the elements for a long term guild gameplay TESO and Neverwinter are leaning too close to what GW2 is
GW2 despite being an AWESOME! game and having the word guild in its name, really makes no use of guilds at all Slightly improved with the way Fractals work now, but seriously there isn't anything that requires a guild
So yes Archeage is the one and only upcoming game at this moment worth being a solid guild choice, the others could be great time fillers though
