Why am I making this topic?
Because this game is in Open Beta right now!
This game is a sick ass sandbox mmorpg. (pretty much oblivion with a lot more options, and then made into an mmorpg)

Giving it a try.

Well, a lil warning, it's 9GB when fully installed and patched up ^_^

A few head ups:

All characters body parts are included, (+ on the creation screen you are completely naked and in game you can undress)
The night time is a pain in the ass, since it is just dark, and ya can't see shit outside of places that have lights.
If ya happen to get stuck, the teleport option is a brutal suicide option o_0
The freeking rabbits bite
Do not hit stuff with a blue flag besides its hp bar, it ll make ya a murderer eventually XD (this includes horses in town)
Do not pigs team up on you, they'r badass when not alone

This game is oblivion type of combat.

Also, there's some stuff that's defenitely not for everyone.
Full looting (all ya stuff in inventory dropped when ya die)
Free to kill anywhere (you can get pked anywhere, even in town although the guards ll 1 shot the dude that killed you after)
Thieving (your stuff and money can get stolen by other players straight out of your inventory, so no afking or ya get looted XD)
No lvls, only skill lvls

lol this game is harsh, people kill you over 10 pieces of rabbit fur, let alone if ya wear something shiny, you ll be a target of thieves, and any barbarians out there

And pretty much anyone I met was ready to kill me over anything I have, which was nothing lol

The game is merciless especially to newbies ^_^

And i'm sure you have alot of experience in being a newbie Snow...that said ..:P

I didn't play mortal much either, but lol in Mortal you gotta be merciless at the start, and expect anyone to kill you. So anytime you make any coin bank it right away, or ya ll loose it rofl.
I also understand why there r so many thieves, if ya end up being killed over and over, even if you have nothing on you, you can just aswell go stealing from people, since you have nothing to loose and only to gain lol

well I'm not really playing the game, just messed arround tested it's features, realised it is no where near to be polished enough to be released, but it is going to be released already and even though I do enjoy the it's up to you wtf you do gameplay, after my scout being destroyed over and over by some reds in shiny armors, and then by others over nothing, or just rabbit fur, dieing many times to buggish stucks, and stuff.
I decided to reroll, and go the all or nothing thief route ^_^, just went hitting on a high hp npc, to get my stats up, so I can run like hell, and now just gonna rob people off their stuff.

This game ll be releasing a new engine soon, within weeks.
After messing arround a bit more I came to enjoy and hate a few features of this game (more)

I love and hate taming ^_^
With taming you don't need any equips to gather materials fast, since you just go out naked, tame a beast and let it kill its own kind, usually 1 dies and the other one is almost dead meaning for 1 tame you got (almost) 2 dead (lootable) beasts while you can rest up and heal your own hp in the meanwhile, this all without any equips on you hehe.
This also allows you for some direct coin making, by taming horses then selling them to players back in town.
The only bad part is the current buggish movement of mobs, which probably ll be fixed with the new engine that's coming.

Thieving, even though I hate that my pockets r being molested non stop wherever I go in town, and I have to keep em empty or run arround like and idiot or stomp away potential thieves.

It does keep ya sharp with all those thieves arround, and it does give you a chance at thieving too. It's just another element that makes just standing in town with fat loot and having huge ammounts of coin on you instead of in bank not as boring.

It also adds more to the player interaction, since there are more people in town to bash/talk/annoy etc in town this way.

I did once get violated by 6 thieves at once though, after agreeing on a trade with a player, I went to the bank and ofcourse the thieves knew I was gonna grab some money so they completely cornered me, and I couldn't set a step without being pocket violated.

Full looting is another feature that just makes this game interesting. Even though I hate being killed and then looted by some red dude and right now half of them in the wilds r just plain hackers so you can't really win against them, and the other half has sick ass equips of high quality or stays in groups to hunt people down.

There are not too many reds, so the few that are there just make it that more of a strategy game.
Are you going fully armored out there to protect yourself? Or just ready to die and naked (this is why I like taming hehe, it doesnt require me to have any equips to still get my loots effeciently hehe)
