| [Monday, March 22 2010 - 2 PM by Lingo] http://aika.gpotato.com/news/?p=64Summary: - The Aika team is aware of the Castle Siege situation and we’re very sorry for the mistake- Rule34 guild of Ostyrion and Failol guild of Vanov will be appointed Lord Marshals of their nations - These guilds were picked based on guild points earned- These guilds have until 6pm PST (GMT-7) today before they are officially appointed, so that they can form Archon alliances Dear Aika players, This past weekend, the Aika team became aware that a severe problem had occurred in the game. We had been under the strong impression that there would not be a Castle Siege on the first Saturday after the launch of Open Beta, and we announced this to you last week. Due to a misunderstanding between gPotato and Aika’s developer, we were mistaken in believing this fact and a Castle Siege did take place on Saturday afternoon. In three of the nations, guilds had signed up for the event beforehand and were able to participate in the Siege, while in two of the nations, no guilds had attempted to sign up due to the information we had announced earlier. As a result, Alethius, Lenaria, and Feonir currently have Lord Marshal and Archon guilds while Ostyrion and Vanov do not. This situation has placed Ostyrion and Vanov at a distinct disadvantage in nation vs. nation conflicts, as the Lord Marshal system provides nations with powerful leadership tools as well as a number of players who have damage and status bonuses specifically for engaging in nation vs. nation warfare. We understand that this issue has significantly affected gameplay balance between the nations and we apologize for giving you incorrect information. In an attempt to level the playing field, we’ve chosen one guild each from Vanov and Ostyrion to be appointed Lord Marshal guilds until the next Castle Siege this Saturday. The guilds were chosen because they have the highest number of guild points of any guild in their respective nations. Their guildmasters will have until 6pm PST (GMT -7) to form alliances with any guilds they would like to promote as Archons, and at 6pm PST we will set them as Lord Marshal guilds for their nations. Ostyrion: Rule34 Vanov: Failol The guildmasters of these guilds will become Lord Marshal until the next Castle Siege. We’ll do our best to contact these guildmasters so that they are aware of the situation. Again, we regret the gameplay imbalance which this misunderstanding created. This is a temporary solution, but once Castle Sieges are occurring regularly and guilds have adequate time to prepare for them, this issue will not present itself again. Sincerely, The Aika Team

| I think i would have probably said to just remove the LM status from the guilds that got it illegitimately, but that would require a sort of roll-back in the data tables, so it would effect to much and the only other choice is to hand out LM status to the other nations.
Is that BS? well a little, but the damage will taper off eventually.

| They could easily remove the LM status of the guilds without rolling back I'd say, but meh | |

| Yeah they could easily remove LM. Since in the end of CB1 Lingo was the LM with 3 guilds allied to her. It was easily removed for CB2. They just need to do system maintenance downtime.
If they say they can't it's just a poor excuse.
Anyways we're just going to play this till FF-14 and B&S. Especially due to the poor Management team. The bots and gold farmers are not even being taken care of. -.-; There;s no GM online to report them to.
Have you see the great wall of gold farmers screenshot? It was amusing but scary.
