The Korea-based
GNI SOFT has recently unveiled the latest sequel to
Carpe
Diem, i.e.
Carpe Diem 2.
Compared to
Carpe Diem which mainly targets at male
adults and displays a relatively hard graphic style, Carpe Diem 2
integrates
pink-styled soft graphics. The developer
hopes the sequel can attract more
young and
female players with the help of the cute in-game characters.
Carpe Diem 2 - Gameplay videoCarpe Diem 2 has taken the developer
8 years.
From the newly revealed
screenshots, we can see that the game lays stress
on the system that allows players to fight on horses. Players can learn
the riding skills and enjoy the special fighting fun through talking
with NPCs and using necessary items.
According to
GNI SOFT, various combat modes are
available in Carpe Diem 2, such as the 1 vs. 1 PvP mode, the group play,
the stronghold occupation combat and the large-scale battle where a
maximum of 100 riders can be involved. Diversified guild features are
also introduced in the game, where players will have to well cooperate
with others. The related socializing system and other game features are
to be unveiled successively in the future.
Carpe Diem 2 is slated for closed beta in the first half of
2010.
