oh Be an active FINAL FANTASY XI subscriber is one of the req for the contest.so u must have ur account email linked to a ffxi active account as well i am guessing lolz

Last night, the Japanese Square Enix Members Twitter account (@SQEX_MEMBERS_JP) posted a short comment from Final Fantasy XIV Producer Hiromichi Tanaka regarding beta selection. Tanaka was quoted as saying:

"Participants for the Windows beta test will be selected sequentially. From the time the beta test begins, we will continue to slowly, but surely, add in players.

Those who haven't been selected, please don't be disappointed and start looking forward to your next chance!"
For now, players can try submitting their application through http://www.zam.com/contests/ffxiv-beta-recruitment ZAM's Special Beta Recruitment, but whether you win or lose, chin up! There are more opportunities on the horizon!

AFter you've submitted everything, remember to keep the email the send you. It'll have the code that you'll need in case you are picked for the alpha

last one in french have no active ffxi req i think which is cool.

they releasing beta in stages,bit by bit,not much people got in alpha beta from what i know.hope they will send out more beta slots later on.
