Ingle Games will launch the final CLOSED BETA for Zodiac Online on Dec 12, 2009. For this test, players no longer need activation codes and character data will not be wiped out after this test phase. This FCB version also includes some new gameplay features, such as Pet Taming and Evolving System, The mysterious Fate System and Video chat function. Additionally, MMOsite FCB Gift Bag Giveaway Event for Zodiac Online has been available now.
On PST 19:00 Dec. 12 2009, our Zodiac Online will enter its Final-Closed beta test phase. During this phase, players no longer need activation codes to register accounts. Account registry is already open on this page http://account.zodiac.enjoymmo.com/register/index.php. After this test phase ends, all user data will be kept (no data wipe out).
Zodiac Online is a Chinese zodiac-based MMORPG with cute and colorful graphics. In the past 3 months, its Alpha and Closed-beta test achieved a great success by right of the various unique features among all MMORPGs. The features below are those can only be found in Zodiac Online:
1. No class limits but totally free combinations of skills and aptitudes
24 characters in 12 zodiac signs with vivid look and individual personality; 48 combat skills and many other living skills and zodiac skills; 12 different aptitudes with their strength and weakness differing from each other. With all the elements above combined, you can create your character who’s totally unique!
2. A very special Pet Taming and Evolving System
This is a very big and wonderful feature in Zodiac Online. Pets can put on equipments and have their own state points and aptitude build-ups just like player themselves! Pets can even evolve twice with a chance to become an advanced one or a rare one to be a very powerful and attractive companion! Besides this, even a wild monster in the field can be tamed as a pet!
Love or hate, gratitude or resentment, competition or cooperation, these sensibilities and activities may be all fated. Do you believe in fate? Do you want to know the compatibility between you and someone else in the very first meet? The fate system will inform you! With the help of this system, you may find your fated enemies and friends, and even your fated romance!
4. A Fairy System full of fun
Will you make a sudden pile or lost your pocket today? Is everything going to be smooth or not? Actually things like these are decided by hidden fairies! Sometimes they’ll show up and possess you, then affect you a lot throughout the whole day. Enjoy the jokes of the fairies!
5. The potential Zodiac System which may affect you slightly or heavily
Every day could be a lucky day for some zodiac signs or a disaster for the others, zodiac signs also function here. Before you’re trying to do something with a certain chance of success or failure, you’d better check the calendar firstly.

As the final closed beta's upcoming, MMOsite took a exclusive interview with Ingle Games about the general status and features of this new game - Zodiac Online, and also some problems what players may encounter in the upcoming beta test.
1. Give us the general status of Zodiac Online right now, how is the game moving along?
We're really making big strides ahead now. We're getting every little niggle ironed out, introducing new features constantly and taking every piece of feedback we get on-board. We feel that the development plan that we have in place already is really going to work well for us and that the ideas we have for bettering the game are really going to make this something truly unique!
2. Those animals in Zodiac Online are very interesting; tell us a little about allusion of those animals.
Quite simply, the main set of animals that you will be gifted as pets are based upon the Chinese Zodiac signs. We feel that they really fit closely to what our players would expect them to be, and reflect the strengths and weaknesses of the signs theirself.
3. What makes ZO special among all these MMORPG on line game?
As much as this may be blowing our own trumpet, I'd like to say that the fact that this is an Ingle Games production really makes a difference! We have a dedicated team that will go to any lengths to create a better gaming experience!
4. What type of feedback have you gotten from players in Closed Beta?
The feedback has been generally good thankfully! People seem to be enjoying the unique features of the game and getting into the spirit of it all! We're really grateful that we have such dedicated Beta Testers to help us figure out the best way forward for our game!
5. Taming is a really cool idea. Tell us about it how it works.
It's very simple. Essentially, any player has the ability to tame any monster that they come across in their travels. This monster can then stay with them as their pet and help them fight in battle! It really gives the game an extra edge we feel!
6. What is something you'd like to say to players who might not have heard of Zodiac Online before?
Just give it a try! We understand that the fact that our game is slightly different from the usual MMORPG, but that's also what makes it worth the try! This is truly a unique mix of styles and ideas that we really think our players will come to love!
7. What is your biggest concern when the Final Closed-Beta test coming out?
Obviously we're concerned as to whether we have righted every bug that we picked up from the last Closed phase, but we're pretty optimistic on that front! We've been working around the clock to smooth over all the problems and get this game running as perfectly as we can!
We really like the way we've managed to fully implement the zodiac signs into the game on many levels, to make it really feel as if they make a difference to the gameplay! So many bonuses and match-ups can be made just based on those signs that it really blows the game wide open!
9. Upgrading pet seems like very interesting. Can you tell us more about it?
It's all pretty straight-forward! You can evolve your pets to create stronger and much more useful variants of the original pet. This way, you can really enjoy the power and help that your companion can give you to the maximum!

10. What response have you seen from the closed-beta tests on the game?
We have seen a general positive reply from most players on the game. It seems that the unique points of our gaming system really excite our players and make a game that they want to come back day after day to play!
11. For those who don't know can you give us some insight into the Zodiac Online classes and skills?
The hugely unique part of Zodiac is that there ARE no classes! You are free to create a character fully tweaked to your style and needs! You will have a choice of various pre-set styles (with strength and defence, fully strength etc.) which will determine your general strengths and weaknesses. But really, the choice is entirely yours! You can choose to major in whatever areas you wish!
12. What is your favourite part about the game?
I personally find the customisation you can make to be the most intriguing and enjoyable part. How great can it be that you can choose EXACTLY how you want your character to be like and act like. The one thing that binds most games is the reliance on certain stat sets for classes, having the freedom to find your own way is really refreshing!
13. Many people think ZO is geared toward a younger audience, but there aredefinitely some fun parts of the game for older players, can you talk about this demographic?
We understand that yes, the bright colours and 'cutesy' graphics may seem to be the sort of thing to draw in a much younger audience. But that's just our style and on the surface, it doesn't necessarily reflect the content beneath! The game can be played on any level really, from the simplest hack and slash to fight your way up, all the way through to creating your own powerful pieces of equipment and raising your pet to be extra powerful. The game is as difficult and varied as you want to make it!
14. You know it's just a 2-D version on-line game and what do you think is the advantage of your game over others?
We feel that the customisation offered by our unique skill sets system definitely sets us apart. As does the (quite underused) turn-based system, not many games on the market right now offer that style, and we're proud to be pushing our game in that direction to truly be a different and unique gaming experience.
15. I'd like to start with some game background on Zodiac Online. I heard that the game is developed on the basis of Chinese twelve divine animals, called Chinese Zodiac. Would you like to introduce something for us about it?
Quite simply, the Zodiac signs in our game reflect the strengths and weaknesses of the players who fall under them. The animals are direct representations of those strengths and weaknesses in their form. So from the loyal Dog to the fierce Tiger, there is always something to fit with everyone!
16. How can players send feedbacks and grab latest news and updates of Zodiac Online?
We have quite a few methods of contact on our game. We have our handy forums available 24/7, these are a great resource for other player's experiences, information for the game and various little snippets.
Most news will be published on our mainsite and will be available there for all to see. Players are free to comment and ask questions however they wish on those articles directly as we have a comment system in place there. Much the same goes for our Facebook group for the game, which we keep up-to-date with all the very latest information.
We also offer an MSN group for Zodiac which allows players to talk with each other and Gms directly about whatever they wish (comments, complaints, opinions, suggestions). And of course, as with all our games, our friendly live support team are always available to answer any question and help out with any issue that players might come across.
So really, I don't think we could offer any more support unless we were coming into the players house their self to quiz them!
17. Zodiac Online have given away pretty valuable 1000pt (game currency) to those who hit the Highest level 60, will there be some other this kind of reward events for players?
We always plan to reward our players as and when they achieve greatness. We feel it's only fair to give as much back to our players as they give to us as a team! So we will be offering prizes periodically to high performers and those that really help out the game positively!

18. Since massively multiplayer games have to evolve by adding new content on an ongoing basis, how are you fulfilling this need?
We have a dedicated team working tirelessly on all updates for our game. We refuse to allow things to remain the same and become stale. We want them to really be able to look forward to each and every update, and what it has in store! And we always take player suggestion on-board at every stage of development to ensure that we are giving them the sort of updates that they really want!
19. What interests me a lot is that Zodiac Online is a game featured with video chat function. Would you like to introduce some for our players?
Well we feel that a game such as ours, that offers real matchmaking services related to their Zodiac signs and daily horoscopes, we felt it was a great idea to try to bring everyone a bit closer! It's always nice to be able to see who you're playing with and to get to grips with the people you know and, maybe, even love!
20. When players encounter problems or bugs in game how can they get a first-aid help?
They can do one of a few things. They can either use our MSN group to report problems to people generally, so players can offer advice, or Player Gms that may be around for them to talk to. If this doesn't provide a solution, then they can contact our live support team from the link on the mainsite
21. To finish up the interview, is there anything more you'd like to say about the new item sales system or the game in general?
We're very proud of our new game. We really feel that it's going great so far! But we always strive to get better and better with each and every update! We really hope that you enjoy playing our game and that you continue to support us over the coming months as we work towards creating a perfect game for our loyal audience!
22. Can you tell us anything about the new features we'll see coming out of the Final Closed Beta in future updates?
23. For accounts with multiple characters, can players allocate the points among them? And how are you dealing with subscribers?
The points that are gained will be shared between all characters, therefore giving the fun to all character accounts! This way, we feel we will stop single characters striding ahead and leaving alts behind!
24. When I log in Zodiac Online, there are three lines of "trade", "guild" and "story" in front of me, how can I choose lines? And what are these threes for?
What's in a name? They're just the names that we have given the servers for now, we may change them in the future if there is demand for it. They are just there so people can choose to visit a busy/non-busy server if they wish. We will most likely add further servers in time to keep up with demand from players.

seems like they put a lot of thought into the mechanics behind this game and actually spent time implementing them all. The 2d graphics aren't too horrid, but this game reminds me of a mix of monster and me and wonderland online. Only difference is the graphics are slightly better in this one. Hmm turn-based. Definitely reminds me of monster and me then. It would be worth trying out if there was nothing else coming out.

Wahhhh, it's a M&M look-a-like contest! *runs for dear life*
Looks like a TQ game. <----- how trivial.
I'll shake a stick at this one, but that's as much rope as I'll give it.

lol i tested it out today keep dcing and then have server main.so i decide to play another day.
didn even make it out of the first town due to dcing non stop.
overall i think its a game where u can play when u wanted to solo play and have nothing to do.
there is another turn based mmo call ts online that i played a few years back that is based on romance of 3 kingdom where u can recruit the mobs/general u fight which is pretty fun for a while.....its the only mmo that i use bot since everyone inside uses it and i was playing solo without joining any guild.
was trying to learn how to code using the bot script which is a good learning experience since i never done it before hehe.i took the chance to see how it is like to be on dark side hehe.suffice to say it make me bored and quit the game early after i hit high lvl and i never bot again ^^

If you guys want this kind of mmo, that doesnt require much time, super light, easy to solo, then try out Neverland online.
No need to download it can play straight away lol.
