The game content must be substantial, interesting and constantly updated. This is the development direction of Dragon Nest which will be starting its open beta test in Korea at the beginning of this year. The other day, the developer and publisher of Dragon Nest held a press conference in Seoul and unveiled some main contents that players will be able to experience in the open beta test.
Here are some strategies the developer will execute to attract more players in the open beta.
Strategy 1: Provide rich contents
The development director of Dragon Nest stressed at the conference that the game must be rich in content so as to meet the demands of players and the OBT version of Dragon Nest will be improved greatly in the aspect of regions, maps, monsters and skills.
Strategy 2: Circulate and maintain interesting contents
Without circulation, the game will become tedious even if it has rich contents. To avoid that, Dragon Nest developers have adopted the mode of circulation between PVP and other contents based on more maps. In the coming OBT, Dragon Nest will enhance the newbie tutorial, subdivide quests, intensify the visual interface and add following skills.
It is not good to make updates too late. Currently, the developers plan to add two brand new regions, LotusMarc and TelNumara by the end of the year. Especially, as a desert map, TelNumara is bound to bring players a different gaming experience and more fun.
In general, Dragon Nest will provide 4 regions and 45 stages in the open beta test and players will be able to develop their characters to Level 32, but in fact, the developers have prepared more contents of up to Level 40. Therefore, the publisher can change the level restriction according to the actual situation.

Dragon Nest has officially launched its open beta in Japan. Here, we'd like to give a detailed introduction to the in-game 8 promoted classes and the highly anticipated promotion system, and also game content which has been modified and updated in OBT.
Introduction to 8 promoted classes Characters must reach level 15 at least and complete corresponding quests to achieve the first promotion. Two promoted classes are for one original class: Warrior:Sword Master / Mercenary
The former promoted classes can be seen as the fortified original classes, but the latter ones integrate some different elements, which result in distinct gameplay. Before promotion, each original class uses exclusive weapons and its skill casting doesn't rely on the equipped weapon. Take Sword Masters for example, aside from swords, they can also equip other weapons, but they cannot give full play to the attributes of those weapons. Therefore, players have to think over what they like or excel before they promote.
In terms of skills, players' skill tree will be updated after they finish promoting. Players can distribute points to former skills to strengthen them, but as the points are limited, players should allot points reasonably based on their needs.

Dragon Nest's Chinese version has launched OPEN BETA today. This time no key is needed but only a Shanda account is necessary. Below is a series of guide that we've just sorted out, including registration, game download and install. Hope it would be of help.
2. After loading the page, you could find many buttons: Registration, Client Download and Patch Download. (You need to download and install all the patches. pleast note that all the patches will be .exe files so that you just install them in the Dragon Nest folder )
How to Download and Install Dragon Nest(CN Server) After posting the Registration Guide, I realized that maybe you also have problems in downloading and installing the game since you can't read Chinese. So I made another Guide here: How to download and installing the Dragon Nest and hot to enter the game: 1, Download Dragon Nest You can choose to download the client via Official SIte; http://dn.sdo.com/
Controls The controls are as good as they get in my opinion. W A S D to move around, TAB key to switch between battle mode stance, 1-0 for your hotkey bar, left click mouse for primary attack, right click for secondary, and spacebar to jump. Takes like a minute to get used to the controls, then you should be all set. You can tap any of the directional keys twice to dash/teleport to that direction, which can be very useful in large scale battles. When you aren't in battle mode stance your character runs faster so most people usually stow their weapon away if they are running great distances. If you have a lot of mana to spare you can just spam dash to your desired location which is a little bit faster than running with your weapon sheathed.
About the first Nest Dungeon - Cerberus Nest Cerberus Nest is only open to those above Lv 32 with "Black Beast Seals", which have to be obtained through the daily quests updated every day. Players can challenge not only the Cerberus King living in the deepest part of the dungeon but also the various monsters and stages hidden there, thus enjoying an extremely stimulating adventurous trip.
Gear Sets of Cerberus Nest
New Class Skills * Sword Master - Crescent Cleave Active Gather energy on the sword and release it all at once to inflict massive damage to the enemy.
- Line Drive Active Launch a sudden attack while rushing at the enemy to knock the enemy off.
if u register a account for me i might come play and test with u ^^

Elemental Lord concentrate on Fire and Ice aka DD. Their most powerful skill is the Broom thing (The one where the girl rides on broom and laughing while zooming to the mob crowd). When you're in boss, if she uses this skill, you can practically prepare to roll the loot box. Fire = Dmg, Ice = A bit CC.
Force Master concentrate on Dark and Time aka CC. She can AoE root, AoE slow, AoE Magnet (Suck all mob into one place) and so on but Dark spell damage is not high at all. Then again, they got a skill regarding Light Time (光系空間) that got high damage but you're pretty much torturing yourself more than Palladin did before you get this skill.
From what I read, the peak of pyramid PVP classes are: Mercenary, Acrobat and Palladin.
Priest skill can be used to interrupt boss skill, AoE (If he concentrates, he can do 2/3 of the DD) and the only healing class. But yea, is mainly good in PvE and went downhill in PvP.
Mercenary.. didn't research but they uses axe or something, one of the best PvP classes and good in PvE (Cause of the April patch in KR and JP server that enhances Axe damage). Oh yea, they got a skill that silents enemy and debuff 2 buff. = =;
Acrobat, I just skimmed through but it's good in PvP and hard to get party in PvE. But a good Acrobat can combo skills and kill Palladin and Mercenary without problem.
Bow Master skills got long CD but good AoE to clear monster. But the class is only good in party since it needs someone to distract the monster. Can't PvP.
Also, it seems the definition of tank DOESN'T EXIST so Palladin would have a hard time in PvE but they're good in PvP.
Sword Master is a balanced class, well rounded. That's it.
=x That's my research so far.

Shu, I'll register and pm you your account later.
My archer and mage are lv9 so far. The game is not bad to be honest, very fun too. Archer is a bit tricky at first cause of the arrow shooting but you'll get used to it when you're lv4 or 5.
The grind is not bad at all, not hard to level up (yet, not sure about later on LOL).
The skills are quite nice (Archer ones, when the girl turns upside down and rotate like a blade to kick monsters). Also, to compliment the review, here are some nice screenshot.
I took the best screenshots in game, don't you think so? ^^

Yeah, I'm a tad reluctant myself to give it a try, because right now I'm not exactly in a sort of gaming mood to try a game simply for the sake of trying something new, i already tested the Chinese beta for Forsaken World to only give myself a very small taste of the game, i really would like to actually play a game in a manner in which i could flow through it without frustration, and i tried that in CN-FW, did not get far.
To be honest i really do not want to be sucked into a new game, even if it is in Chinese, I'm already going to play Vindictus in August and it will most likely be my "side-game" to play once Forsaken World comes out, i just can't juggle that many games.
But, i might just make a account out of boredom and give it a look-see.
