This is an overview of the droid models that so far appeared in official
sources about SWTOR. As soon as there is more information on this
topic, this page will be updated accordingly.

	Astromech Droid Astromech droids specialize in the handling of computer or security systems. They are also capable of repairing and maintaining those systems. Last but not least, they oftentimes support their owners navigating their space-ships. T7-O1 Republican Astromech X2-C3 Imperial Astromech
	Assassin Droid Assassin droids are built for killing. They are known for their efficiency and dangerous accuracy with weaponry. They are also extremely loyal to their masters. Some of them have additional language abilities, similar to those of protocol droids.
	Battle Droid As battle droids all those droid models are referred to that are primarily designed for direct violent conflict. Many droid types fall into this category, like assault-, enforcer- or security droids. AR-34 Enforcer Droid
	Medical Droid When in need of surgery, medical droids can perform almost all necessary operations. They are highly appreciated by those owners that like to pursue dangerous missions or those who like to support their venturesome friends. M3-M1 Medical Droid
	Probe Droid Probe droids are predominantly used for reconnaissance or surveillance. The information they gather can be of high importance to their owners. Some probe droids are furthermore equipped with self-destruction mechanisms or small blaster-cannons, enabling them to defend themselves against enemies, or have other useful tools equipped. 	Protocol Droid Protocol droids regularly serve their masters as „moving encyclopaedias” or translators. Most of them have command over several languages and are able to communicate with other computers. However, they usually shy away when it comes to fighting. SP-99 Protocol Droid
