first note that square enix did make the game and its for serious pvp which is rare since they seldom make pvp mmo.but they give up on the japanese server after a while and choose to focus on ffxiv instead and sold the license for it to other company to manage so it may not be square enix best mmo.

but i have watched their video on this in youtube before and the pvp is quite intense and since starting of beta is coming for new english version we can consider this.

Square Enix and Gamepot USA have partnered up to deliver a new free-to-play fantasy MMOG dubbed "Fantasy Earth Zero" to MMOG fans in Q1 2010.


Fantasy Earth Zero, which is being announced exclusively here at MMORPG.com, will focus on PvPvE (Player vs. Player vs. Environment) gameplay and utilize a new "Hyper-Active Battle System," which aims to deliver an exhilarating combat experience akin to the "best scenes in Gladiator or Braveheart, with the action ratched up to 20."

and this game is arcade style pvp from what i watch on video so its good practice for blade & soul heh

interesting to note this is a 3-4 years old mmo and square enix already foresee action style pvp will be consider new gen mmo by 2010 lolz

play b&s for pvp and blood and ffxiv for solo and teamwork pve gameplay and enjoy the stories inside ffxiv.

and p2p mmo is so much better for us compare to f2p in the sense its cheaper in the long run haha

Fantasy Earth: Zero, formerly known as Fantasy Earth: The Ring of Dominion, was developed by Fenix Soft (original developers, Multiterm, were absorbed into Square Enix on September 1, 2007). Several months after the release, Square Enix canceled the game due to a severe lack of demand. The publishing rights to the game were later bought by Gamepot, where the game has enjoyed much greater success as they dropped the subscription based element present when under Square Enix's PlayOnline service, and became a Free-to-Play game.

The game had gone active publicly through beta testing on February 23, 2006 and was re-released by Gamepot on November 2, 2006 in Japan. On April 3, 2007 Fantasy Earth started beta testing in China (Mainland) and subsequently on June 3, 2008, in Taiwan. English-speaking players can anticipate the beta test in 2010.

Gamepot has partnered with Square Enix to bring Fantasy Earth Zero to the United States. The free-to-play MMO is scheduled to launch early this year and features three classes (warriors, mages, scouts), five kingdoms and a 50 vs. 50 PvP system.

There is currently only a forum that you can log in on, the site itself has nothing to log in yet.

The game is not in beta testing yet, you will get an e-mail about when the testing will start on the e-mail adress that you registered.

GamepotUSA is pleased to announce that the Fantasy Earth Zero Beta will begin on March 3rd at 3:00 pm PST and end on March 10th at 3:00 pm PST.

For the uninformed, Fantasy Earth Zero is Square-Enix's upcoming F2P MMO that is just now being localized in the US. The game originally came out in 2006 in Japan, so naturally we're going to see quite a few people complaining about the older graphics... but they're missing the point. This game boasts numerous gameplay features and is quite ground-breaking for the Free-to-Play MMO market. The combat system is completely different from standard "point-click-attack" schemes found in other MMOs, and you'll even be able to use a Xbox360 controller for Windows.

FEZ is being localized by Gamepot USA, a fairly recent entry into the F2P market here in the US. Gamepot USA launched Bright Shadow late last year. They have been working hard to bring us a localized version of Fantasy Earth Zero, and I'm willing to bet that it will be a huge success considering the Square-Enix branding that comes with the game. The music is composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto. He worked has worked on the compositions for many different Square games including: Final Fantasy XII, Final Fantasy Tactics, and Vagrant Story.

Gamepot USA just brought us big news (from their Facebook page) and released the client yesterday, along with a date for the first Open Beta: March 3rd.

What makes it even more awesome is the level of involvement they will be having with the game. They will be holding a Beta Bash whereby players have the chance to earn some rare items! Gamepot has stated on their Facebook page that the primary purpose of Open Beta 1 is to test stability, client performance, etc. Do not go into the game expecting a finished product. They are relying on us to help them test the game and report bugs. It's in your best interest to report bugs as well, because the 10 best bug reports will receive a prize. Details:
