Servers on East Coast = Problems for Oceanic players?

Ping would be considerably higher, also effects players from Singapore, Malaysia, whole SEA.

Although, it can be countered with services like GameTune (Malaysia) and LowerPing (Aus).

Try pinging your connection to New york, at www.speedtest.net should give you a brief look on what your MS will be

Have you ever tried GameTune?

i'm not sure how gametune or lowerping works. i heard they can only be used for WoW, is there anyway i could use them for Aion too?

GameTune works with Aion, but I'm not so sure if it's accessible to Singapore players, as it is catered for Streamyx users.

Reloging every 1 hour as in Aion or the program itself. It is not wise for a Spirit Master to relog all the time cause it would affect our DP.

well i think is relog aion since it will dc u when u using gamepath for free

I got 260ms roughly which is OK, gonna be disadvantaged to any1 in USA but this was always gonna be the case

problem now is routing to aion server that is the issue.since a lot of non usa players reported the issue of routing lag issue which ncsoft already say they are aware of.hopefully they can fix it in time.

for now maybe the best is consider using gametune for my players or gamepath for asian region players heh

i may consider paying for the service for 3 months if they dont fix the lag at start of retail heh

if i still remember correctly i think i used Gamepath service for WoW before, it worked pretty darn wall to be honest :P

i see gamepath is going to open its service for Aion client too so i think i will be using it if i find the latency in aion unbearable

Mmh 260 msis pretty alright for an mmorpg I guess. Still gonna suck a bit since there's gonna be a fair bit of pvp going on >.<.

lowerping states that they will be supporting Aion
But it costs like Aussie$ 20 (no clue how much Australian dollar worth) every 30 days for their services or bit less if ya pay 90 days

East Coast is way better for those of us from Euro. I hope this doesn't cause to much problems for some of our friends but I think we will all have some lag.

I tested mine a few times, and it isn't very stable o_0 still average 120~135ms isn't too bad I guess

this is why i not picking a melee combat class this time heh

Thats around my average DL too but my ping is around 94-98 and my upload 1.06-1.10mb

Lol lag is EXACTLY why I pick templar ^_^

The pull skill will safe me A LOT of chasing arround while having lag spikes

@Buffie: hehe you'r a bit closer to them then me and my modem etc is really old, we getting fiberglass connection very soon though ^_^

Yea I guess my 50mb doesnt help in games that much lol
