Aion Release Date


Just like I have promised before, once we receive an official Aion release date I will let you know.

Guess what? We have the date!

Finally the wait is over and NCSoft has announced the Official Aion Release Date!

Your adventures in Aion begin this September! NCsoft is proud to announce that Aion launches in North America on September 22, 2009 and makes its official debut in Europe starting September 25, 2009. But according to Ayase the server will open at the same time and folks with pre-orders will be able to able to start playing immediately after the server are online.

Also good news, that Aion will also be available as a digital download at NCsoft.com this September!
That means no need to pay the shipping costs and if you have already downloaded the game, then all you need is a key to start playing the retail version.


Aion Ventrilo Server


I have set up a Ventrilo Server for the community, so if you like to use voice communication while playing, feel free to join a discussion with other Aion fans or if you simply have some questions regarding the the game, maybe some of the community members will be able to answer them!

YAY, I'm so happy it's not the beginning of Sept. xD Gives me a chance to set up my dorm properly lol

Ok so the Sept. 2nd date was not a release of the game date, but rather a shipping date the product will be sent out to the distributors. >.>
So those who ordered the product will get it on the 22nd, not the 2nd - right?
But what I still don't get is for those who pre-ordered, they said you can "download & play it early". Which is when - Sept. 2nd, right?
I'm getting confused on their release dates, download dates, and when you can actual get to start playing dates.
Can someone clarify, please?

they probably meant they will ship it on 01 sep and we all get it around sep 10 or so.then wait 1-2 weeks for server start and if u pre order early u get to start game 2 days before others

hmmm ok but it still doesn't give me a date of when the game will start.
If I want to put in for vacation time during that time, I got to have more specific dates. =D

The game will be releasing the 22nd in NA and the 25th in Eu, Although if you preordered you get to play the game the 20th for both EU and NA, I'm not sure if they confirmed if the EU will get a 5 day headstart but if they do ....lucky them :bored:
