With Mabinogi Heroes coming soon this month, I might as well share you guys a video of what is in store for you. This video was NOT recorded by me, I just managed to find it online. It is a video of one of the hardest boss fights in Mabinogi Heroes, who's name is White Tyrant. This big bad white bear can one or two shot you if you fail to dodge it's deadly attacks. I must say, that this fight is just amazing and has me more hyped up as to when Heroes will be released.

I heard that Nexon sold ingame items even before the open beta came out.. Lets hope they wont make a pay to win game out of this game...its looks so promising.

Nexon's action MMO Mabinogi: Heroes has opened the test server since January 14th, 2009. Nexon released its latest character - female mage Evy to players via the test server as well as Evy's customization video. Evy with oriental young lady's appearance features simple control in game. She uses magic wands and Magic Wands as her weapons. In a team, Evy not only has attack magic but also recovers teammates' HP.

Recently, the upcoming update contents for Korea-based Nexon's action MMO Mabinogi: Heroes were leaked. The leaked contents include the usage of SP value that has been presented in the game but whose actual usage hasn't been unveiled before, and the category, level as well as required AP of Evy's skills that also haven't been unveiled on the test server.
This issue made players acquire the upcoming contents of Mabinogi: Heroes ahead of schedule and start to discuss. Players thought there were some bugs in current character balance and some hardcore players felt disappointed about their classes.
In respect of this leak, Nexon hasn't found out its cause, but they did not think those contents were leaked by insiders.
According to an insider from Nexon, it's impossible that Nexon unveiled the details of the upcoming update when they were at the stage of waiting for update, the staff would not do this, either. He also said that Nexon had asked for deleting the leaked game details, but received a negative reply. If Nexon finds any evidence proving that the secret contents were leaked due to a hack on the game client, they will take proper measures.
In addition, the issue will sentence Mabinogi: Heroes to a gloomy and problematic future. Due to the leak, players' anticipation tends to trail off, even worse, and most of players have given a negative response to the upcoming contents.

With the announcement of open beta schedule, Korea-based Nexon's action masterpiece Mabinogi: Heroes releases the latest promotional trailer on January 19th. Mabinogi: Heroes is scheduled to launch its open beta test in Korea on January 21st, which will bring players a real and highly interactive next-gen gaming experience.
The open beta test starting on January 21st will unveil the forth chapter to the public and add massive updates including new regions such as Sanctuary - The Ruins , Entrance to Polelo Plains and Inner Recesses - Ice Cave, as well as raid-level boss Blood Lord. All these new contents have been showcased in the latest video. Elite monsters and bosses in different regions also show up! From the video, players will see the scenes in Mabinogi: Heroes are featured with real-time and interactive elements, which allow players to pick up in-game objects and throw them at enemies to deal damages. The 'Grand Open' server for Nexon's new title Mabinogi: Heroes is available today. All earger players can jump into the long waited open beta.
The open beta test starting on January 21st unveils the 4th Episode which contains new regions such as Sanctuary - The Ruins, Entrance to Polelo Plains and Inner Recesses - Ice Cave, as well as raid-level boss Blood Lord to the players. Nexon also released a video themed 'Evy's Temptation' to celebrate the open beta.

NOOOOOOOO... T_T When mabinogi heroes went into open beta in korea I thought I was going to be waiting for 2 years before I could see the english version.... And now they say its going to be Q4 2010... I couldnt wait to try the game so I registered an account on the korean nexon website when the open beta started. I WASTED 4 HOURS trying to get a stupid nexon account and now I realize it was a huge waste of time... grrrr...

Creating a korean nexon account is very easy if u use google translator (I know it sucks but I didnt have a choice). There is only 1 thing that will keep u busy for hours... the KSSN. U have to use a valid kssn and most of them (the ones u find on the internet) are already used or invalid. U need a valid kssn and the name + last name associated with it. (this is considered identity theft :P )
